  Recently, there were break-ins affecting multiple cars (around 7–8) parked outside this apartment complex. While I understand that unfortunate things can happen anywhere, it’s disappointing that no communication or visible action has followed. No emails or notices were sent to residents to acknowledge the situation or provide guidance, which feels unfair—especially for those of us who rely on street parking because garage parking comes at an additional cost on top of already high rent. There are signs and cameras posted stating that the property is being monitored, but when incidents like this occur, it doesn’t feel like those measures are actually being enforced or used to prevent future issues. I’m not expecting perfection, but I do expect transparency and some reassurance that management is taking steps to address safety concerns and prevent this from happening again. Communication and proactive action would go a long way.

  All props to Stephanie and Zoe — they truly made my experience amazing! Stephanie made my move-in process so smooth; she was incredibly patient and accommodating every step of the way. And Zoe? If anyone else had given me the tour, I’m honestly not sure I would have moved in. She was so knowledgeable, outgoing, and welcoming. I just moved in, but I already feel so excited to be part of this beautiful new community and to have a new place to call home. Thank you both for everything!

  We found The Edwin on Grand after carefully researching and visiting various apartment units in the St. Louis area. We moved into The Edwin 8 months ago, and have enjoyed all aspects of living here. The apartment units are modern and beautiful, love the views, and the common areas are also beautiful and very well kept (always super clean and neat). Secure, indoor parking as well as a Target downstairs are a plus. Very nice ammenities (gym, pool & lounge area). Excellent location, and a short drive to SLU. We feel very safe here. The property managers are welcoming, professional and always helpful. I have hardly ever had to submit a maintenance request... anytime I did , it was promptly taken care of by professional and friendly staff. 5 stars all around! We are extremely grateful that we found The Edwin and highly recommend it!

  Lovely place to stay. Management is excellent, always ready to help. Target in the ground floor, free gym, gated parking. Best value for money is what I'll call this place.

  My partner and I were one of the first few wave of residents moving in to The Edwin this past July. I wanted to wait until now to share my thoughts out to the rest of the inter web. I've been a renter at a nearby high rise apartment, and was originally thought about renting a place a little ways away from midtown. But the minute I heard about this mix-use development with one of the best pedestrian and public transit access, it was hard to pass up on a tour. I was already convinced that this would be our new home. This property management oversees portfolio of highly rated apartment complexes across the state and a few out of state, and The Edwine is no exception. Property management and staff are amazing!!! Plus, always an added convenience to live above the Target. I was also especially caucious about the building's accessibility as a blind person, and The Edwin checks all the boxes. From paved sidewalk right up to the grand bridge for easy transit access to braille signages throughout the building and even at each apartment units, I was beyond impressed. With minor little glitches and misses here and there in my particular unit with us being the first resident, it's solid. Maintenance was right on addressing these hick ups, I somewhat expected this and it's not a bad problem to have. Overall, if you're in the market for a premium, accessible apartment with high class amenities with easy access to public transit and what the city has to offer, The Edwin will blow your mind.
