    grit bought my apartment complex recently and are completely incapable of and unwilling to communicate effectively. they double charged tenants' rent when they took over. when you call the property manager's number and she doesn't answer, it redirects to a different office and it might be days before she hears anything about your message, let alone when/if she gets back to you (and i found this out bc i was trying to get a hold of someone when they overdrafted my account by double charging my rent). they charge a $200+ fee just to renew your lease, then ALSO increase your rent $100+/month after doing nothing to improve your unit whatsoever. most of the units don't even have dishwashers or central air. they don't know what they're doing, but you'll be paying them as much as they can get out of you regardless.

    I had a frustrating experience trying to schedule a tour with Grit Property Management Group. I called twice this morning hoping to get a link to book a showing, but both times I was routed through an AI system that didn’t actually help. I ended up receiving automated “thank you for calling” messages instead of any real assistance or a way to schedule a tour. It felt like there wasn’t an easy way to get basic help or connect with a real person when needed, which made the process more difficult than it should be. For something as important as finding housing, I would expect a more straightforward and accessible scheduling system. I hope they improve their communication options moving forward, because the properties themselves look promising, but the current process made it hard to move forward.

    Spammed me with emails and texts from an AI chat bot when I made an appointment to tour a property and I confirmed 3 times that I would be there. No one showed up to the property and then when I called, I got an automated email 15 minutes after the tour was supposed to start to say that it had been cancelled. When I finally got a real person on the phone they said “I only have one person showing properties I didn’t know they were canceling anything.” If you have so many properties that you can’t manage them with real people you probably aren’t going to be a good landlord. Also the house they were going to show me looked way worse in person- broken fence and hugely overgrown yard. I would avoid. I have no doubt that most of these 5 star reviews are bots.

    I would give them a 0 star we moved out of there they tried saying we owed 500 for damages but they should take it out of the security deposit but they said there's no record of my leaving a security deposit ummm yes there is cause all places require a security deposit they are messing with the wrong person I will sue them for everything they got worst place to live
