  My mother lives in the complex and she really enjoys living there. However, over the years which she has lived there, I have seen how she has been impacted by the unreliability of the elevators due to both the frequency and length of time that it takes to get them back up and running. It seems that the elevators in the complex go down way more often than they should. Are there a common issue for the breakdowns? If so, would it make sense to attack the core issue(s) so that the elevators would go down less often. If it is mainly a resident issue, identifying the person or persons causing the issue and have them be counseled, retrained and or fined so that the behavior is changed. If these breakdowns are caused by poor mechanical systems are there common issues that continue to happen? If so, would it be possible to have spare parts on hand so that the turn around process would be much faster. With rents continuing to go up each year, having reliable elevator systems should be something that the residents can count on. Thank you for your attention

  ELEVATORS STILL BROKE!! Day 17!!! Going into 3rd weekend w/ no elevator!!!!! April 17, 2026 Posted a review on Dominium site today. This is unacceptable and at this point, RENT REDUCTIONS should be applied, at the very least!!!! Get an elevator that will work. Choose better vendors and install reliable elevators!!! ELEVATORS BROKE AGAIN !! This is day 11 for senior residents living in Bldg. C. Eliminating their access by elevator is a huge disruption, inconvenience, and safety concern. Their only option is to use the stairway. The impact to 3rd and 4th floor residents is dramatic. During these frequent outages they are basically "trapped". Many have mobility issues and can not maneuver the 57 STEPS!!! NO special accommodations have been posted to my knowledge. No benches on the landings where people could rest before the next flight of 19 STEPS. NO offer to carry groceries for these residents. Many have had to cancel appointments, social gatherings and figure out some alternative method just to get basic supplies!!!! When calling office for update they are usually pacified by saying that more parts are coming!! NO answer as to when elevator will be fixed. For such a relatively new complex these elevators should not be broke so often. IF this elevator CAN NOT handle the useage it was intended for, maybe a replacement is a viable option!!! Are the same parts continually failing???? Maybe being proactive and have some on hand for the next breakdown. Hmmmmmmmmmmm?? Yearly rent INCREASES $$ While services DECREASE. To add, regarding this accessibility problem, I must say this past winter was the worst!! SNOW REMOVAL or lack thereof. Again, no urgency or priority to the residents. Main walkways left with snow and the ICE lingered for days!! THIS IS A SENIOR FACILITY!!!! Very shameful on Dominium and trying to reach corporate referencing these issues is nearly impossible. I guess more people need to contact: Council for disability City code enforcement Fire Marshall Fair housing act

  I have lived here for more than 6 years and love it here. We have wonderful residents and very kind and helpful office staff. The paths around the building and the neighborhood are lovely for walking.

  The Legends of Woodbury has a definite sense of community. Several events throughout the week. Maintenance staff try to take care of issues quickly.

  Update 1/18/26. The below issue is still ongoing. There seems to be no urgency on providing scraped and salted walk ways for the residents. I did not write this review out of malice but genuine concern that the Legends of Woodbury has not addressed. I am writing to express grave concern regarding the persistent lack of safety and maintenance standards at this facility, which is specifically dedicated to the elderly and disabled. Given the high cost of rent (over $2000 per month), the current standard of care is unacceptable and should be addressed. This is not an isolated incident, but an ongoing pattern of neglect. The most critical issue is the failure to maintain safe pathways during winter weather, which directly endangers disabled tenants. When it snows, the parking lot and all walkways are consistently left unsalted and unscraped. This creates severe, unnecessary slip-and-fall hazards for the elderly and disabled residents who live here and rely on safe, clear access for their mobility. Beyond the critical winter safety issues, the general grounds maintenance is also neglected. During the summer months, the landscape is consistently left unkept.
