  This is a great spot to live. The area is nice and quiet, and the building is beautiful. I had no complaints at all during my year being here.

  The most disappointing and frustrating experience. Spent 590.00 to apply and was just told that the 250.00 refundable deposit is not in fact refundable. During the four day process of applying for an apartment finding more and more fees that were never disclosed at the start of the process. It wasn't until they came back with a lease agreement to sign did we see ALL the fees. Never signed a lease given all the additional fees, never disclosing an underground parking space had a waitlist or their 20 page lease agreement that has more hidden charges. Not to mention during the tour, Tiffany continued to state how the "amenities" were not available because she neglected to restock or take care of. There were Amazon packages scattered on the floor of the mail room and lobby. When I inquired, she just stated there was a room to drop off packages that they clearly don't enforce or assist delivery personnel. The apartment we visited had dog chew marks on the window coverings. After all the "shoulds of" Tiffany was exclaiming during the tour, I did not have any faith they would actually replace them. Run, don't walk away from a money pit of empty promises of this complex. So happy I realized before moving forward with The Whitley that they are underhanded and not forthcoming with all the additional fees and charges. At the start of the process, I gave Tiffany an opportunity to explain some of the additional fees, she reinstated she was right and I was in the wrong. Only when I said I wanted to cancel our application did she recant and give a threat that I had to make a decision by end of business day, which meant I had three hours to consider her offer. Tiffany, you're a great liar!! I won't make the mistake again to trust an apartment salesperson.

  Building is nice, well maintained and staff is awesome. Great location for summers in Lowertown. Been here 3 years. Unfortunately the no smoking policy is not entirely enforced as my end of the floor has smelled like weed pretty consistently for the past year. As a resident I am expected to manage, consistently report, and bring in a 3rd party to "investigate" when it happens. Other than that - its a good spot with friendly people.

  I was in love with this building until I had to start playing security guard every morning. Homeless sleep and do drugs in the vestibule right where you need to walk to get to the parking lot. They’ll leave heaps of garbage or cigarette butts in the vestibule, let alone the awful smell left behind. I have communicated my safety concerns to property management to add one more lock outside this door which was shot down by the owner because “it was too expensive”. There has been homeless IN THE BUILDING sleeping in the floor where I feel uncomfortable for my girlfriend to go to the workout room in the morning. And I feel uncomfortable leaving for work. You can see in one picture they had wedged the LOCKED door to stay open some how. SECURITY NEEDS TO BE UPDATED.

  Living at The Whitley has been a great experience thus far. They have accommodated me with a nice one bedroom apartment with a balcony, brand new appliances, underground heated parking garage along with tons of amenities. The staff is very attentive/respectful. Highly recommend them!
