  We have had a relatively decent experience here minus a few instances. Upon move-in the carpet was not vacuumed or replaced and was very dirty. I ended up washing it with a rented carpet cleaner. The other instance was when I requested to have the deadbolt replaced after misplacing a key. The office said that maintenance would contact me separately to setup a good time to replace the deadbolt and to get the new keys. HOWEVER I was never contacted by maintenance and they replaced the deadbolt without telling us, while we were not home, thus locking us out of our apartment. They left no note and no email about how we could get our keys and the office was closed by the time we got home. Emergency maintenance was responsive, but does not reside on site so it still took a few hours to get back in our home. We were very angry and disappointed by this interaction.

  This property’s unprofessionalism is laughable. They just want your application money and lie to you about not receiving your verification info. I now understand why so many apartments are “Available” on their website. LOL

  My boyfriend and I have lived at the Kendrick for a year and have had a very positive experience. The initial move in didn't go as planned, as the unit was not vacuumed/carpet cleaned and the bathroom was dirty, but Lillie compensated us for the cleaning costs and offered to carpet clean during our stay as well. The unit was a very affordable price given the area, and had all of the amenities we were looking for (in unit ac/heat, washer/dryer, fitness room, balcony). The maintenance crew is generally quick to respond to requests and while they might not make the fixes look pretty, they resolve the problem for the tenants. The area is quiet and feels very safe, as I have frequently gone on runs in the area and never had any problems. Only complaint is the loud train, which of course is not a fault of management (but I do suggest not picking a north facing unit!). We have enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Kendrick, its a great low price with better quality than a lot of other more expensive places.
