We had a 1 bedroom loft for 1 year

Parking $90/spot
Management and maintenence issues made the experience frustrating.
Move-in: Greasy residue covering the counters/appliances, lots of hair embedded in the freshly painted walls.
Parking: Wrongly charged despite a free 6-month promo (fixed only after we called it out). We waited a month for a keycard, which didn't matter at all since the parking gate was broken at move-in and never fixed the entire lease.
Loading zone in front: Handy for move-in, but the street closes Sat/Sun mornings for the farmers market, and police hassled us for using it during our move-out.
Management: In-building staff are friendly but seem powerless. Corporate was constantly blamed for paperwork not being processed at all/correctly, requiring repeated follow-up to get any response.
HVAC: Broke 5 times. In-house maintenance could rarely fix it, so we had to wait on outside techs. Underpowered even when working.
Positives: Common areas well-kept. Sidewalk out front sometimes smelled like dog pee, but cleaning staff washed it regularly. Convenient access to the Green/Bus lines.
Security deposit still unresolved: We gave our forwarding address both in person at move-out and by email. Minnesota law requires the deposit within 21 days. Instead, we got a call 3 days after that deadline asking us for our new address again. It's now been over 2 weeks since that call, we still don't have the check, and our follow-up emails are being ignored.
Overall we regret deciding to live here. I'd recommend you go elsewhere.

Please do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT RENT here. Management is very unprofessional and non communicative. The halls smells like dog piss and feces. THE ELEVATORS GO OUT FOR DAYS/WEEKS at a time m. The HVAC system works Intermittently and they have a hard time keeping maintenance men. The buzzer box has been broken for almost a year as well. I had to go to court to break my lease!!! Please save yourself the stress, time, and money!

As someone who lives here please don’t move here you will regret it. Elevator breaks down every 2-3 business days and took management two to three weeks to get it back up in running. No central AC so building has to wait to get it turned on (no telling how long that’s gonna be). Move in was sloppy, all my my documents weren’t ready at move in, so I’m constantly having to schedule time to go to the office when they are only open from 10am-4pm. Oh and be prepared for everyone to hear your conversations through the vents and from your front door.
Neighbors are nice tho 🙃
