The Building isn't much an issue as the main office staff is, not present and not helpful on correspondence. I've lived here for the duration of one lease and the biggest issues I have are getting ahold of anyone in charge of anything. I see the maintenance personnel more often than I see an office with an open door. My calls go unanswered, emails unread, and follow-ups on anything else? Good luck. I'm convinced that the only thing management is good at is collecting a check and filing eviction notices.

Review I’m extremely disappointed with our experience with the management at Amber Fields Apartments. We paid a $150 deposit to rent the community room and also paid a decorator to set up for our event. Management specifically assured us that she would be there on Saturday to give us access to the room. We were also told that we could not access the room before 9:00 a.m. to set up our belongings, so we planned everything around that time. However, when Saturday came, management was nowhere to be found and was not in the office the entire day. We tried calling multiple times, but no one answered. The office was listed as open online, and we were told management would be there, but that was not the case. We even spoke with the maintenance employee and asked if he could contact management. He explained that he could only call the office number, but the office was closed for the entire day. We also tried calling the emergency phone number, hoping someone could help us, but that number also led back to the office. No one answered the emergency line either. We had absolutely no way of reaching management or getting access to the community room. After paying $150 for a room we never received access to, on top of the money we paid a decorator, we honestly felt scammed and completely taken advantage of. We had an important event planned and were left scrambling because management failed to keep their word and provide the access we had paid for. This was extremely unprofessional, irresponsible, and unacceptable. If management makes a promise and takes payment for a service, they should follow through. At the very least, there should have been someone available to communicate with us and resolve the situation. We deserve an explanation and the return of our $150 deposit.

Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable Management If I could give The Landings at Amberfield in Rosemount zero stars, I would. Our experience with management has been beyond frustrating. We reserved the community room for a graduation celebration, paid the required deposit, planned our entire event around having access beginning at 9:00 a.m., and yet hours later we were still unable to access a room that we had properly reserved. We repeatedly contacted management for help. The response was essentially, “Sorry, we’ll try to help,” with no actual resolution. By 2:00 p.m., we were still waiting. The management office was not open, and there appeared to be absolutely no sense of urgency despite knowing that this was a time-sensitive event that had been planned around the reservation. This is not simply an inconvenience. People paid money, made plans, arranged an important celebration, and trusted management to honor a reservation. If a property cannot provide access to a facility that residents have reserved and paid for, then what exactly are residents paying for? What makes this experience even more concerning is the way my friend was treated throughout the process. The attitude, dismissiveness, and lack of professionalism were completely unacceptable. Residents should not have to beg management to take a legitimate problem seriously. We have also experienced other issues with this property and its management, so this does not feel like an isolated incident. There are also serious concerns about inconsistent treatment regarding the community room. We are aware of a previous situation in which someone was allowed access to the room the night before their event, while we could not even obtain access on the actual day of our reservation. I cannot definitively claim that discrimination was the reason for this treatment, because I cannot know someone’s intentions. However, given that my friend is visibly Black and wears hijab, the repeated dismissive treatment and apparent difference in how situations have been handled understandably raised concerns about possible racial or religious bias. At the very least, the situation deserves serious scrutiny. The lack of accountability is what is most disturbing. An apology does not fix a missed event. “We’ll try to help” does not solve an urgent problem. And ignoring residents until their plans are ruined is not acceptable property management. If you are considering living here, pay close attention to how management treats you when something actually goes wrong. A property can look nice, but that means very little when the people responsible for managing it cannot communicate professionally, honor reservations, or respond appropriately when residents urgently need assistance. This experience was incredibly disappointing, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. Management needs to do better.

Very disappointing experience. The upstairs neighbor is extremely noisy, especially late at night, and management does not properly address residents’ concerns. The parking area also feels unsafe because children play there. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and safe home
