This place looks nice on the outside-decent amenities, lots of green space for walking pets, free uncovered parking, a pool, so I considered living here. After what I experienced when I visited my friend a month ago who currently lives there...I will not be applying. She wouldn't post this herself out of fear of retaliation, but she deserves better and this should be known for potential black renters especially (I never do reviews but this kind of thing is important). I was waiting for my friend outside of the building while she went back in to grab something, when a white woman walked outside, looked me up and down, and approached me with weird energy asking who I was visiting, for how long, which apartment, etc (my friend came out shortly after interrupting the interrogation). It turns out, this same person has made multiple complaints on her neighbors (and their pets), and she for some reason even told my friend she did this often in her previous building when my friend first moved in! This place seems to have very "Karen friendly" management, the pool was randomly closed 3/4 days I visited my friend, the walls and floors are thin (with the door closed you can hear someone who lives on the opposite end of the hallway shut their door normally and when people go up and down the stairs, which is not ideal if you have a dog or you or your neighbors are sensitive to noise), the sprinklers consistently spraying directly onto the walking paths make enjoying a walk on the paths after 7/8ish pm out of the question (especially if you require a wheelchair and need a clear path without an impromptu shower), and the plumbing in the bathroom is shoddy...And this is what I noticed just from a short visit (all this and more confirmed by my friend who's lived there a minute). Love my friend, and I can't wait until she can move somewhere that truly wants ALL of its residents to feel at peace and at home (especially for what she's paying)!
