  I honestly don’t know where to start. We moved in here in April of 2023. ( moved out spring of 2026 )The first apartment we signed the lease for took too long to “clean”. So we agreed to go into another unit same building different floor. We didn’t know why or ask questions just said yes. And on unpacking day. We were organizing the kitchen when we saw a cockroach fall into the sink. So that’s the too long to clean part. The previous property manager Jessica knew of the cockroach infestation that happened in the other unit we originally signed for. Moved us into another unit above it and it was also infested. They never told us and the previous manger stated we shouldn’t have found that. So we were a bit pissed. The district manager said we couldn’t take legal action as well. Lol. Also the cabinets were dirty and crumbly and they sent the previous maintenance guy to look and he took a butter knife to scrape. Nothing more. The roach infestation lasted 9 months with having the pest control guy come out every 6 weeks to spray. Also came home once to a bed bug in the unit. Came from the unit below. The hot water/water gets turned off about 1-3 times a month. Balcony windows get huge ice chunks in the winter. Also the guy they hired to re do our bathtub. Who they still hire out. Took a nap on our living room floor with the windows open and AC on. The current property manager Mary is great. She always was quick with our issues and seemed sympathetic. But again bigos itself wouldn’t compensate for our frustration of cockroaches and the dude sleeping on our floor. My wife was home and he just thought he’d make himself comfortable. Also left a huge mess in the bathroom even though he said he’d be back the next day to clean. Was still a mess lol I wouldn’t recommend living here. Never had an issue with any tenants. It was relatively quiet. But the buildings are old and musty among the other things stated. Oh. We had a water leak in the corner of the room with a bookshelf over it. Because maintenance came to bleed the lines after winter and didn’t seal it properly afterwards. And I would assume would be the district manager to the property manager had the audacity to tell my wife we should have let them know about the leak. So we are supposed to know it’s leaking with furniture on top of it? Okay. Also make sure to keep your receipts and take lots of photos before and after. They’ll try deducting from your deposit on move out. Luckily I was able to provide proof and got the full amount back. Thank you Mary.

  Needed my dish washer fixed and toilet, 24 hr Maintenance fixed it asap. They put a new toilet in.

  My boyfriend lived here for a year! Worst place I have ever seen! He constantly was losing heat and hot water over the winter! The building across the court yard from his became infected with bed bugs! Kids always prop the doors open running through the buildings. He always paid his rent on time but mysteriously the last month he was to live there they supposedly didn't get his rent check and sent him a threat letter on July 6th stating he must pay the rent immediately or they would file an unlawful detainer. He paid the rent online that night. He ended up being charged a late this from them for not getting payment before the 5th he was also charged a stop payment by the bank for the supposable lost check. He moved and on July 30th and was then contacted by the office stating they were charging him a $30 stop payment fee on the rent check (Jessica told him to stop payment on this check) they then tried to cash this check on July 26th (the check they supposedly never got or just hung on to trying to get an extra $1110 out of a tenant). I think they are very shady in the office! Possibly pocketing money and we will be talking to a lawyer after we see how much more money they try to steal out of his deposit!
