  New management doesn’t answer emails. And has been ignoring my husband and I. Ps, the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors just talking normally. My car has been vandalized and management did nothing. My husbands car was hit in the parking lot, I asked them to check the cameras, we are always threatened with, and the admitted they don’t work. We also had a horrible move in experience where the cleaners never came to clean our unit and we had to move in without the unit being properly cleaned prior. Prior to redtail purchasing the property, we didn’t have many issues and loved our unit, minus some noise here and there. I find the new manager to be rude and inattentive to tenants. Not responding to emails is simply unacceptable.

  I lived here for ~6 years in the early 2000s, 37A a 2 bedroom and it was one of the best rental experiences of my life! I loved being close to the river and the warehouse district/North Loop! Was actually super quiet for DT MPLS because the unit faced townhouses next to the river. Parking in front of our door, private patio, 15ft ceilings!

  0/5 stars. This property has severe management instability and an unacceptable disregard for tenant safety, rights, and they essentially lost/stole $1,000+ worth of our property. My boyfriend and I signed a 10-month lease starting in November 2025 and it was so awful we paid rent here and we weren't even living in our unit for the last month. During our 9-month tenure, the property underwent three management changes, including signing a lease with one and getting a new one within our very first week of moving in there. In that opening week, multiple vehicles, including my own, were vandalized with yellow spray paint that wrote "Oops! F*scist!". Management completely ignored the incident and failed to acknowledge our safety concerns. Furthermore, our apartment shared a wall with a communal door leading upstairs. The door slammed so violently it repeatedly jolted us awake. Despite numerous noise complaints, management left the door broken off its hinges for over a week, which only worsened the noise. Additionally, we had MULTIPLE leaks coming from the ceiling onto our glassware/kitchenware and floor that were merely "looked at" and never resolved. The move-out process was equally negligent. It took five attempts over the final month to schedule a move-out walkthrough. Management failed to show up to the confirmed appointment on August 27, forcing my boyfriend to wait 30 minutes alone. Later, a maintenance worker left a voicemail stating the unit was clear with only "general wear and tear." Unfortunately, we accidentally left behind an over-the-door shoe organizer containing over 10 pairs of shoes valued at over $1,000 (including two sets of $200+ dress shoes, $180 Nike sneakers, golf shoes and more). When we followed up on September 2 and 3, management claimed maintenance had already "disposed" of them within the two days of our lease ending on August 31, allegedly alongside a neighbor's property from our porch whom they thought belonged to us. We were never contacted about any of these valuable items. Per Minnesota Statute § 504B.271, landlords are legally required to retain personal property abandoned by a tenant for a specified period before disposal. Management’s failure to do so, combined with their lack of communication, constitutes a serious violation. We demand the immediate return of our shoes or a full financial reimbursement for the lost property. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

  Been living here for over a year, in that time the management (Red Tail Residential) has gone to hell due to a new company buying the building. Incompetent and rude property manager can’t plan properly or communicate with tenants effectively in a respectful manner. Save yourself the money and hassle, rent elsewhere. Sad to see a beautiful building and area be ruined by poor management.

  The walls are thin, and I really do mean thin. You will hear your neighbors asking each other what they want to eat for dinner. If they have the TV on you might as well be sitting in the same room as them. You’ll learn a lot about your neighbors whether you want to or not. The vaulted ceilings also make it difficult to control the temperature effectively in the winter time. Downstairs will be whatever temperature you set the thermostat to, but the bedroom upstairs will be at least 9° warmer. I set downstairs to 68° and the bedroom was 77°! Location is hard to beat thought.
