  Absolutely furious with how we were treated by Expo. We found a unit we liked, and leasing staff told us it would be available later, quoting us a specific price range. We took them at their word and signed an expensive month-to-month lease at our current apartment to bridge the gap — a decision that cost us real money, based entirely on what they told us. Then they went completely silent. We reached out again and again for an update and were ignored every single time. No callbacks. No emails. Nothing. Apparently once they had our interest, actually following through wasn’t a priority. When the unit finally appeared on their website, the price had jumped well above the range we were quoted — no explanation, no heads up, no acknowledgment that we’d made financial decisions based on their numbers. It felt like a bait-and-switch, plain and simple: string people along with a good price, then quietly bump it once you’re locked into your own bad situation. We are out real money because we trusted what Expo’s staff told us. Do not believe anything they quote you verbally, and think twice about renting here at all — if this is how they treat prospective tenants before you’ve even signed anything, imagine how they’ll treat you after.

  Great location, great apartments, great neighbors. One block from cobblestone Main Street, one block from a grocery store, and two blocks from Hennepin where there are tons of great restaurants, stores, and bars. This is the best spot in Minneapolis to be if you want to be near everything but have that riverfront peace and quiet. The staff here are not only friendly, but have gone out of their way to make this home for me. I moved to Expo in a blitz after a house purchase fell through after a flood. They helped me find a place that worked great and then even allowed me to transfer to a bigger unit when I needed more space to accommodate a new job. What started as a short term solution has turned into a place I want to be for awhile. I couldn't recommend Expo more.

  We had a great apartment tour with Brian! He showed us a lot of units and was very honest about pricing. He made sure to show us all of the amenities that mattered to us and had great attention to detail.
