  Overall a nice building, however not all units have proper ventilation. Attached pictures showcase how the sliding glass door may get in the winter (resulting at times with puddles of water in your home). Highly recommend ensuring ‘caulking’ has been completed correctly on your unit before committing to a lease!

  Started out as a very nice apartment. Nice location for sure. Beautiful rooftop! But then our refrigerator went out on us. We were told we would have to use the vacant apartment across the hall from us to put all of our food in. Then unbeknownst to us, the vacant apt got rented and on a Sunday when the office is closed, we came home and the apt across the hall was locked. We were then given a “college” sized temporary refrigerator that barely held anything. After being told numerous times that our new fridge was on its way, we finally after a month got a new fridge. Then upon our moving out, we never received a checkout list but we cleaned our apartment like nothing we had ever done before. It was PERFECT!! We even had the property manager inspect it for us. She approved after telling us to clean a shower stall AGAIN. We had taken a mirror off the wall being held by a 3m strip that ended up pulling off a portion of the paint/sheet rock. We had maintenance come in and fix it and specifically told us that that was sufficient and to not do anything further bcuz the “painters” did not like the tenants doing anything on the walls. We were also told that all residents upon moving out get 1hour free cleaning. We couldn’t imagine what else would have to be cleaned. Everything was PERFECT!! But when we got out deposit back, it was minus $200 and the explanation was “charges for cleaning and wall repair!! We disputed the charges and “Corporate” said charges stand. Not good!! Bcuz of all this, we can not recommend 1800 Lake
