  Ben and his team at B&C Home Loans were awesome to work with\. We had a pretty tight timeline and they got us from start to closing in just 15 days\! Ben really knows his stuff, and when we ran into a few things that others couldn’t seem to get moving, he knew who to call and how to get it done\. He was always available when we had questions and kept everything moving the entire way\. Great experience, great communication, and just a really good team to work with\. I’d definitely recommend Ben and B&C Home Loans to anyone looking for a lender.

  If I could give zero stars I would. I would strongly caution anyone considering using this lender. We did everything we thought we were supposed to do. Before we ever listed our home for sale, we contacted this lender, provided our information, discussed our situation, and obtained a pre-approval. Our home wasn’t listed until July 17th 2026 so there was plenty of time beforehand to review our financial situation, ask the appropriate questions, and determine the best financing route. Instead, we were made promise after promise and told repeatedly that things would work—only to have the financing fall apart not once, not twice, but three separate times. I am now out thousands of dollar's. The biggest issue throughout this entire experience was the lack of thoroughness. Documents were provided but seemingly not reviewed until they suddenly became relevant. Important questions that should have been asked at the very beginning were not asked. Each time a problem surfaced, another financing strategy was presented and we were sent down yet another rabbit hole believing this time everything had been figured out. We also did not feel there was adequate knowledge or guidance regarding more complicated financing situations, including bridge loans and determining the best way to structure financing when purchasing a new home while selling an existing one. As borrowers, we shouldn’t have to know every question that needs to be asked—that is exactly why you hire and rely on mortgage professionals. What has been most disappointing is the lack of accountability. Rather than acknowledging that proper due diligence should have been completed before issuing a pre-approval and repeatedly assuring us that different financing options would work, the responsibility was continually shifted back onto us. A pre-approval means something to a buyer. Families make enormous decisions based on it. We listed our home, entered into a purchase contract, made plans to move our family across the country, and relied on the professional guidance we were given. Had the appropriate questions been asked and the documents thoroughly reviewed from the beginning, we could have made informed decisions months ago instead of being led through three failed financing scenarios. Our experience has been exhausting, stressful, and completely avoidable. We are moving on to another lender and would strongly recommend that anyone considering this company make sure every detail of their financing has actually been reviewed and verified before relying on an approval or making major financial decisions.
