  The property is very nice, and the management and staff are kind also. The apartment is no issue at all, and I recommend living here. The issue we faced was the software they use that checks credit and identifies whether you can be approved for an apartment or not. The apartment and management do not approve you it's the credit report they run, and it runs you individually. Let's say your partner was hit hard in the last 3-4 years and took a toll on their credit, this credit report brings that up and will reject them the apartment and cannot live here. Even though you both are living together. They don't care if you have multiple roommates, they honestly will go with whatever the credit check reporter says. If one person cannot afford the apartment as a whole, or had some hard inquires in the past 2-4 years, it will reject you and the credit check report they use does hurt your credit. So be mindful when wanting to live here. I did do research on the credit check they use and they are outdated and I have saw the recent policy update they follow by. The credit check report they use has 1 star also on google. Do your research on all apartments and what credit check report they use, it will hurt you and this was consider a hard inquiry from Experian. I have good credit and make good income, so I was approved, but not my partner and it hurt us both badly.

  LOVED my apartment from the moment the door was opened for a viewing, beautiful apartments. Clean and well maintained amenities. The staff is absolutely the best, if an issue arises they are prompt to fix it, they truly do care and take pride in all aspects and are always willing to help anyway possible!

  My husband and I lived here for approx. 4 years. We just moved out the beginning of November and can say it was some of the best years we've spent together. The Edison at Avonlea, to start, had interesting staff to work with. They've since transferred and we've got to know Mike and his team pretty well. It has always been a pleasure talking to them whether it was resolving an issue or simply updating each other on our life. They truly care about their residents and make a point of remembering each and every one of us from when you sign your lease papers to when you make your last payment. While we didn't get to use the apartment's amenities as much as we had anticipated, they were always clean, put together, and enjoyable with other residents. Everyone was always friendly and respectful (especially with noise issues on occasion). This apartment also prioritizes safety, which we appreciated (doors needing fixing because they didn't close all the way, yearly alarm inspections, etc.) to it's cleanliness (filter changes, vacuuming the hallways, dusting, etc.). I, genuinely, will miss BOTH our apartments. We had two leases with a 1-bedroom, 1-bath and ended our time here with a 2-bedroom, 2-bath. My husband proposed in our first apartment, which will always have a very special place in my heart, and then later planned our wedding in the second. Both apartments we adopted a puppy that our neighbors got to know and love. It really is a great community and truly was a pleasure living here. I hope that our next chapter (a house) ends up being as enjoyable as this! Highly recommend considering the Edison at Avonlea your HOME. It's a great location off Cedar Avenue while in a quiet neighborhood. Thank you! The Craigs

  Prior to moving into the Edison, I had only ever lived in one apartment where I liked the management and had a good experience. So needless to say I was leary. But to my suprise, everyone at the Edison exceeded my past experiences and went so far above and beyond to ensure I was a happy tenant. They are so kind, welcoming, understanding, and help when one needs. The pool is gorgeous, the apartment is quiet and it felt like a luxury home. I highly recommend anyone looking for a safe, secure, luxury apartment check out the Edison at Avonlea. They will work hard to make your home the best yet! Literally have nothing bad to say! Thanks! Oh! And if you love deep soaker bath tubs, they have the absolute best! It's heavenly!
