I hope you don’t mind a story-time, but I feel the context is necessary to truly highlight the phenomenal experience I had with Aleisha at Mirabella. I wasn’t house shopping. I got ahold of Aleisha after making virtual eye contact with what I thought was the home of my dreams, and I was honest - I’m not house shopping, I just need to see THIS house so I can either live there forever or hate it and move on with my life, but the daydreams are starting to consume me. Aleisha took a chance on me knowing that I could be a total waste of her time. She met me on a snowy day, showed the house, and while it wasn’t the perfection I had created in my brain I saw the potential, but someone else put in an offer the next day. I believed my journey was done, we were staying in my cute little house, and that was fine.
But Aleisha listened. She took notes. She sent me a couple of homes that she thought I’d like. I put up a fight because ya know, I’m not house shopping. She said “I really think you need to look at this one.” I arrived at the showing and when I tell you she was right, this home checked every single box off my complex wishlist! I wanted a house with land so my kids have the opportunity to be feral outside kids, right on the edge of town cause I don’t wanna drive 37 minutes to grocery shop, huge yard, small house with open and super functional spaces cause I don’t want to clean a big house, big garage. And she found it, and she made sure I didn’t miss out on it.
That meant I had to sell my house. I was a first timer in the selling arena but Aleisha did an incredible job walking me through the process. My house was pending in 2 days. We had a seller back out mid-process, which was scary, but Aleisha was quick to move and keep the process going. My house was pending again in 3 days. She was a strong negotiator, had my best interests at heart, but was honest and knowledgeable about the environment we were in which helped keep me level headed. Being the buyer is way more fun than being the seller. LOL
Aleisha has a strong skillset in the business side of things, but I’d also like to add that she’s overall a simply delightful human being. She cared about me and my family. She cheered for me along the way. Her enthusiasm made the process an enjoyable one. She’s personable, truly feels like a real estate bestie.
Thank you Aleisha (and James for your help) - I’m thankful for you!
