  Got the keys on 28th of September after signing the lease on the 5th of September. Company had almost a full month to assess apartment for repairs and cleaning. Apartment was not cleaned at all prior to move in. The bathroom and toilet had been obviously used many times before move in and nothing was cleaned as there was “residue” and hair all over the toilet and seat. Soap holder in bath shower still had previous tenants gross soap all over it and the tub was dirty. The air conditioner system was found, leaking all over the closet carpet and soaked and stained it, the first day I moved in. The air conditioner leak was fixed but system was turned off for repair. It wasn’t turned back on so I had no air conditioning during the days of 90 degrees. The kitchen sink and the bathtub/shower backed up and filled with sewage and filth day of actual move on the first of October. Still waiting for storage unit, two weeks on, as they have to have correct keys installed. The call system at door has been out of order and is written that a new updated system is coming - apparently, according to another tenant, that’s been like that for at least three months. The building has nice features and has potential, but for almost $1700/month it’s been an absolutely terrible experience so far.

  I moved from another state and was proud to find this apartment to call home. Sarah and Shannon have been amazing and tended to all my needs to help make this home even more comfortable. Kirk the maintenance man is also amazing and works hard and quick to get things taken care of when needed. I Love the environment, the location, and all the amenities included in the apartment. I love it’s a small complex with caring neighbors. My apartment is in the perfect location with a beautiful view. The indoor pool, sauna, and garage are all blessings.

  We have lived here for 6 months and only have great things to say! The apartment is very spacious and updated, I was pleasantly surprised when I came to tour. The community is quiet and clean. We were nervous about the smaller gym but have never had an issue - we are always the only ones in there. Maintenance requests have been taken care of the same day. Almost anything you can think of is in walking distance. Downtown Minneapolis, the airport and Mall of America are only 10-15 minutes away. I'll recommend Astor Place to anyone looking for an apartment in an awesome location for a great price!

  My experience at Astor Place has been very positive. First: The price per square foot, I believe, is better than most newer apartment construction. Compare for yourself. Second: Astor Place is conveniently located without being located on a busy street. Third: The management is very responsive to requests and concerns. It'll be worth your time to check out.
