I stopped by today 6/27 about 12:30pm to get a tour as I'm considering selling my townhome and renting. The woman told me that I couldn't see an apartment today since they are all occupied. Which of course makes total sense. I asked if I could get a tour of the building and she was surprised by that. She told me no one has ever wanted to get a tour of the building. She asked for my ID and put my information in her system and then made another comment about how she's surprised I want a tour because this is it. I said, Really? This is it right here as I'm still standing by her window. She said something about yes, you see what you get. Then she comes out of the window area and she says again about most people wouldn't want a tour unless they were seeing a unit. You're going to want to come back and see a unit right? I said, Yes, I'd want to see a unit before renting it. She said, well most people would just get a tour then. So it was beyond apparent after her 3 or 4 comments that if this is my first impression, that this is not the place for me. I told her that I'm just going to leave.

I would not recommend The Gallery Apartments. My experience was very disappointing. Management was difficult to work with, communication was poor, and resident concerns were not handled fairly.
One of the main reasons I decided to move out was because I felt management was biased when dealing with an issue involving residents. I did not feel that everyone was treated equally, and it seemed like decisions were made without considering all sides of the situation. The lack of fairness and equality was very frustrating.
The move-out process was also stressful, with confusion regarding charges and communication. Overall, I left feeling disappointed by how management handled concerns and resident issues.
I would encourage anyone considering this property to carefully research other options before signing a lease.

Too long didn't read: Management does not have any compassion for residents. After saying that they would do anything they could to help after I had multiple immediate family deaths, they refused to even wave fees after a misunderstanding.
My boyfriend and I lived at these apartments for a little over 2 years. In February, my only brother died suddenly and we had to move out sooner than expected so we could take in his extra large dog that we couldn't take care of if we continue to live at this apartment complex. I set up an in person meeting with management to inform them that we would be having to move out and to see if we could get out of the lease early. Even though they said in that meeting that they would do anything they could for us in this hard time, they let us know it would cost us more money to move out early than if we just stayed till the end of our lease. A few weeks later we asked if since we were moving out before the end of our lease, if we could at least drop the garage and pet rent we were currently paying. They never responded even though we checked that it was the correct email address to send it to. I understand missing an email seeing as my boyfriend and I missed an email from them about the upcoming lease renewal. No other email on this was sent. At this point we did not think we had to inform them that we were moving out due to having an in person meeting and sending multiple emails about needing to move out. Apparently in the lease renewal email they sent, there was a line about requiring signing a notice of intent to vacate that we missed. Separately from this, my father passed away, in addition to my brother, less than a week ago. We currently have about half a month left on our lease and they called to inform us that we did not sign the notice to vacate. Now that it is too late, we are going to have to pay an additional 2 months of rent. I understand since they sent an email indicating this would happen if we did not sign a notice to vacate. What makes me angry is that in addition to the extra 2 months rent we are now paying unexpectedly, there are additional fees as well. Since they had previously said they would help us out if we needed it due to the deaths in my family, we asked if they could at least wave the additional fees. They told us there was nothing they could do about that. They did not ask anybody or even say they would look into it. They basically just told us we were out of luck. When we first moved into this apartment I was under the impression that it was a community, and that the management cared about the residents. They do not. The apartments are nice but I would not recommend that anyone ever lease through The Gallery.
Additional issues I've had with this apartment complex is that there are moving carts to assist residents in moving and taking groceries in, but in the past year all but one of these carts have broken down and nothing has been done to replace or fix the others. They also only let you pay rent on the first or up to two additional days later. You are unable to pay before hand. This has been an inconvenience throughout our stay. Neither of these are big issues, but as I was already writing this review I thought I would throw them in, too.
