I'm truly disappointed with Associa Minnesota HOA Property Management. I recently dealt with a duplicate HOA payment issue that resulted in 2 months worth of HOA payments being credited to my account. What should have been a relatively straightforward issue took more than two months and numerous follow-ups to resolve. What was particularly concerning is that I was the one who discovered the duplicate payments and bought the issue to management's attention. Despite the credit balance being reflected on my account, I was never notified that I had been overpaying. I initially reported the duplicate payments in June and immediately followed the instructions provided to stop the duplicate autopay. From there, I repeatedly had to follow up regarding the credit and my refund. At various points, multiple representatives were responding to my requests, yet there seemed to be a lack of coordination and the issue remained unresolved. There were delays in responses, confusion regarding the payment history and my request for assistance was even closed while the matter was still unresolved. The account ledger showed the refund as processed on July 30, but I later learned that the check was not actually mailed until August 6. When I followed up again because I still had not received it, I was told it was sent via USPS First-Class Mail and that there was no tracking number available. I ultimately did not receive the check until August 27. Unfortunately, despite communication with multiple representatives, resolving the issue required far too much effort and follow-up on my part. The overall experience was frustrating. The customer service, communication, coordination, follow-through, and refund process need significant improvement. Homeowners should not have to spend months repeatedly following up with multiple representatives to recover money that was overpaid and already reflected as a credit on their account.

If I could give zero stars, I would No communication if you’re behind on HOA dues. My auto pay was turned off and I didn’t realize it so it’s not like I was trying not to pay. It was an honest mistake. If you’re behind one month, they send you to collections. They then turn your ability to pay online off so you can’t get caught up When I requested to speak with them I was denied, the reason being was, they are to have no communication with the homeowner until the homeowner is caught up with the law firm / collection company. I’ve never seen a business operate in this manner or fashion and I hope anyone looking at homeowners association companies reads this and never selects this company.

Robin was amazing. He helped me so much. I felt like I was speaking with family because he treated me with kindness, compassion and respect. Something that we don't seem to get anymore with other businesses customer service agents. Thank you again, Robin. I truly appreciate you!

I spoke with Dajana at Associa Minnesota. She was friendly and got on my request quickly and professionally. Within 5 minutes I received the call from my property manager who was just as kind, Kelli Johnson. I realize how tough their jobs are and I believe they need to be recognized when they do a great job! Thanks ladies for the help, much appreciated!!

When I needed assistant with an issue in my community, I was approached with annoyance and rudeness. I was calling in to let the HOA aware of dog waste in the community. The manager, Donna, was assuming that I was calling to see if they can send out a fine to this certain person. That was not my reason for calling. I just wanted to let them know, so our community is not held responsible for the negligence of other homeowners. Based off this upsetting experience, it makes me hesitant to ask for help in future occurences.
