Avoid property associated with this company at all costs. They do not respond to ANY communications. There is no follow thru. We have had dead trees for over a year on our property. They continually raise rates, ours went up 17.5% in one year, and again they do not answer ANY questions/concerns. They simply do not care how your property looks.

I received fantastic service today from A'Shonti, a bright star on Associa Minnesota's Customer Care Team. My problem wasn't resolvable by a bot--it required an intelligent, caring human being to do a deep dive into several different records and the Associa app to figure out what was going on. I'm glad Associa realizes that while bots can be helpful with simple questions, only people can solve the more complex ones. Associa does a great job with our HOA, and without question, A'Shonti is one of the reasons why.

Absolutely awful customer service and people without accounting skills running bills. I have been arguing with them about a misapplied payment from probably 10 years ago - I can show on my bank records that it came out of my account, I have tried to even split it as we no longer have access to records, I send them the same issue every year of misapplied payments - they just keep adding on late fees even though my payments are on time every month. Stay away from using them if possible!

I am deeply disappointed with Cheyenne January and her team. My electric bicycle was stolen from the building's locked, code-access garage — a space under their care and control — where I had two assigned, registered stalls and my bike was secured with two separate locks. I filed a police report and notified management in good faith. The building manager and one of the staff members confirmed that the garage door was in need of repairs. Despite all of this, Cheyenne January and her team refused to take any responsibility for the theft, conducted no real investigation, and offered me no replacement or reimbursement. I have the police report and a full record of my correspondence with management documenting every step. What saddens me most is the complete lack of accountability and basic care for residents. When a secured facility fails and management knew the door needed repairs, residents deserve a fair response — not a flat refusal. I would caution anyone relying on this property's "secured" amenities to think twice. Management's handling of this has been genuinely disappointing.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this HOA/Association. Over time, I was assessed excessive fines and late fees totaling approximately $3,800. While I understand the importance of enforcing community rules, I found the process to be unreasonable and lacking any consideration of individual circumstances. My biggest concern was the lack of communication. Important notices were sent only by regular mail, with no attempt to contact me by email or phone, even though those methods could have helped resolve the issues much earlier. When I reached out seeking clarification and assistance, I received little to no response. An HOA should work with homeowners to resolve concerns, not simply continue adding fines and fees without meaningful communication or empathy. Unfortunately, my experience felt more focused on collecting penalties than helping homeowners achieve compliance. I encourage current and prospective homeowners to carefully review the association's enforcement and communication practices before purchasing a property in this community.
