  The leasing office is great, they single handledly make living at Ardor on the Bluffs enjoyable. Kay & Kathleen communicate consistently when there are events, or updates for the community to be aware of. For apartment living, if you abide by the lease, you will have no issues here. The building itself is new, so there's not a lot to say other than it's nice. Parking provides great value compared to other apartment buildings in the area.

  I’ve lived here for almost a year and it’s a great place to call home. The building is well-maintained, management is responsive and helpful, and best of all, I get to wake up to the sights and sounds of the wildlife refuge every day. Overall, just a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere – I highly recommend it to anyone looking in the area.

  I was recently hired as a flight attendant for Delta and given assignment at MSP airport. I knew from the start that I wasn’t gonna be a commuter, but I had never visited the city before and didn’t know where to start. I found Ardor on the Bluffs because I was looking for new build apartments in a convenient location near the airport. Maybe this review is skewed to the niche demographic of flight attendants like me, but I figure an apartment review like mine is exactly what I wanted when I was searching so hopefully this will help someone else. I would first like to talk about the location. It takes me only about four minutes from the time I walk out the front door to the time I arrive at the train station, where it is then only about four more minutes from the time I get on the train to the time, I am walking through the terminal at the MSP airport. This is a huge deal for me! Coming from Florida, I of course, heard that Minneapolis gets tons and tons and tons of snow and ice in the winters and though I have driven under these conditions before I certainly don’t ever want to drive under those conditions again if I can help it! So keeping in mind that if I can just walk to the train without slipping and breaking a hip is a huge win for me in mitigating that concern off rip. Additionally, I love fishing, and the other thing that scored a huge win for me is the location being immediately next to a massive wildlife refuge where you can walk to the river or take a bike and go on the most beautiful and scenic tour of some of the wildlife Minnesota is famous for! The next train stop down the opposite direction of the airport will drop you off at the mall of America, which is also a really neat thing to point out about this apartment’s location! Literally anything you could think you ever want to do here in Minneapolis is within a short walk to the train stop away from here. Speaking about the apartments themselves, I would point out that they are a little pricey, but that security was a big deal for me. You hear a lot about the city on the news these days and being that I’m from out of state I didn’t know what places are safe and unsafe, so finding out that there are soooo many security cameras and community-only access points around the property and that you can’t get virtually anywhere here (even the front lobby) without a key fob was a big selling point for me. As a flight attendant, it’s not that I am worried about my own safety here on the property, but I didn’t want to be gone on a trip and come home to find that my place has been broken into or that my cats had been kidnapped, etc. So all the peace of mind was worth the pricey cost to live here. That being said, it is a little expensive compared to my home in Florida. I would add that as a con, for sure, but not enough of a con to warrant a four star review as opposed to the five star that I’m gonna give this place. If you’ve read this far, you probably want to know my opinion about the Internet! The apartment comes with two modems preinstalled, either for Xfinity or AT&T‘s Quantum Fiber. Just my personal opinion, do what you want, but in my experience, you should never trust Xfinity so I definitely recommend Quantum Fiber! It’s something like $70 a month for 3Gbps internet speeds and it’s very good. The gym is just “ok.” If you’re a gym person, it’s probably a bad gym. Very lackluster equipment, but I’m gonna see if I can schmooze them into letting me bring my good equipment from home for y’all to use! 😉 The last thing I would like to add is that Kay is one of the best leasing professionals I’ve ever met. I was in training and shopping blindly for an apartment when I first came across this community and on my first day of inquiring about it K asked if she could have my personal number and she was texting me until about one in the morning answering all of my questions very thoroughly and I just can’t thank her enough for making me feel confident in my decision to lease blindly like I did! Anyway, if you’re a flight attendant, I highly recommend!
