- MKMaryJane KlompsJul 25, 20264.0Overall I have been quite pleased with everything here at Galante but the 4th of July weekend we ended up with a disposable type piddle pad for a dog in the bushes below our patio area. It laid there for a week and finally I picked it up myself. Now there has been another piece of garbage in the same area and a big black trash bag 💼 under the cedar shrub at the bottom of our steps. They have been there for nearly another week. I had ask awhile back if I could take the patio blinds down and just put up a curtain because the slates of the blinds keep coming off. (I’m now “fixing” the top because some have broken when they have come off.) anyway, I was told no, I couldn’t because owners or management wanted everything to look the same from the outside. If they are so concerned about appearance, I would think they would want the garbage picked up. Plus there’s a plant missing in the front of our patio. Curb Appeal, you know? I worked as an apartment caretaker for two years so I realize this sort of thing might bother me more than others but as caretaker, part of my job was to walk the grounds every day and pick up garbage. Sorry to rant…

- BPBrooke PronkSep 24, 20213.0Lived here for a year now and here’s my thoughts. The apartments are stunning. Everything you’d want from an apartment. Community amenities are great, they make it super easy to rent out rooms if you need to, the pool is nice, workout room is massive. All great. The only major downfall is the location. If your apartment faces the roadside (Galaxie) then you’ll know it’s a busy street and it’s LOUD. Police/fire station is right down the road so you’ll be hearing that all hours of the day. Traffic is also constant so you’ll often hear horns blaring/honking all the time. If you have young kids (like me) you’ll want to take that into consideration!
