Unfortunately, our experience here was extremely disappointing, particularly when it came to maintenance and communication from the leasing office.
We received our keys on a Tuesday and moved in that Thursday. The very first night we tried to use the washer, it began leaking. We immediately shut off the water and contacted maintenance. Someone did come out and address the leak, but when we tried to actually do a load of laundry the following night, we discovered the washer still did not work properly. Our clothes came out soaking wet and unclean, and the spin/drain cycle did not function at all.
We submitted another maintenance request that Friday night. After hearing nothing over the weekend, we called again on Monday and were told another ticket would be submitted. Days continued to pass with no update, no one coming to look at the washer, and no communication about when the issue would be resolved.
We also emailed the leasing office explaining the situation, our frustration that the apartment was not move-in ready, and asking about a rent credit considering we had been without a functioning washer since moving in. We received no response to that email and had to follow up again.
The washer itself was frustrating, but the lack of communication was ultimately the bigger issue. Things break, we understand that. What was unacceptable was having to repeatedly submit requests, make phone calls, send emails, and chase people down just to get an update.
When you're paying to live somewhere, especially when first moving in, you should not have to work this hard just to get basic maintenance concerns acknowledged. Our experience left us extremely disappointed with the management and communication, and we ultimately ended up moving out 15 days later.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend living here. The lack of responsiveness and communication made an already frustrating maintenance situation significantly worse.
