I would give 0 stars. Where do I start with this place? I have lived in many apartment communities over the last decade, across the nation everything from low-income to luxury living and this by far has been the worst experience I have EVER had. This is not a friendly community and the leasing office employees DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU ONCE YOU SIGN YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER SO PREPARE TO BE IGNORED AND TREATED WITH A POOR ATTITUDE. I understand when it comes to apartments that we don’t choose our neighbors and that’s always considered but in the circumstance of disruptive neighbors, I expect the office to enforce the same rules for everyone.
I moved to Sunnymeade after traveling for several years for work. I have had severe autoimmune disease related health complications and it was essential for me to have a quiet, clean community to support my recovery. What I got instead was a mold infested apartment, the tenants above me being the most belligerent and inconsiderate individuals, a “fully renovated” apartment where the floors are literally separating, the bathroom cabinets falling off the wall, the wall trim separating from the floor leaving an extremely drafty room and BUGS!!!!!!!!!!! I have contacted the leasing office over 50 times since January regarding my neighbors above me being extremely disruptive at all hours of the night. I have never once received a response or addressed in any way. This has been a nightmare for my health as if mold isn’t already a problem, the fact that I cannot sleep is even worse. This has left me missing time from work and hospitalized TWICE due to EXTREME EXHAUSTION. I have never ever in my life experienced these issues in a community. But keep in mind the cheap specials and the poor staffing reflects what you get in return. I decided to start withholding rent until I received a response and STILL NOTHING EXCEPT FOR LETTERS THROWN ON THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF MY DOOR.
The maintenance guys are fantastic, but you can tell they are stretched thin. There was a large rug in the furnace area outside from a previous tenant that I removed because it is a clear safety hazard. The rug is way too heavy for me to lift and move to the trash so for safety I placed it outside of the furnace room hoping I could get some assistance moving it. I received a letter as a threat of a lease violation after they claimed they sent me a direct email, which is not true, they have sent community emails regarding other items but never specifically to me regarding the rug that is literally not even visible unless you are on the patio. They pick and choose.
Even if I could move it on my own, the dumpsters are constantly full to the top for weeks unattended, the grass reaching nearly a foot tall for over A MONTH!!!!!! DEAD RATS THE SIZE OF A RABBIT ALL THROUGH THE TALL GRASS. Tenants don’t clean up after their pets. There was a leak inside the common area of my building coming from something upstairs, it was left for weeks just leaking into a bucket and the common area not cleaned after it was fixed and still a GIANT hole in the middle of the building. I was told the washer/dryer failed inspection and they had to replace a part, which I received no notice of, they said they would be back with the other part and a final inspection completed by the city, which never happened. Everything about this place screams POOR MANAGEMENT. Great communities start with a great staff and they have clearly failed. This place could be great if it was actually cared for properly and residents were responded to. Those who move here all share the same goal - having a quiet place to live. After the additional charges and headaches, I highly recommend you just spend the money on a luxury apartment complex that will be tended to. I could not be more excited to move in a couple of weeks so this nightmare can finally be over. Will be updating this review with photos.

Where do I even start? I’ve been a tenant here for one year in one of Sunnymede’s “renovated” units. Took them 9 months to install a washer/dryer after constantly badgering the leasing office. They rescinded our rent concession after installing a 2-in-1 machine (we were initially promised a full size washer and dryer, then told it was a 2-in-1, then the former again) despite leaving two gaping holes in our drywall during the installation that are still OPEN. Another hole was created in our wall during winter when water began bulging beneath the paint and seeping through the walls and onto the floor from the baseboards. They told me this was normal and weather-related. I had to contact the city of Troy to try and get them to move their feet (which didn’t work). The furnace went out in the middle of January - as did my neighbor. Took them 2+ days to send help in negative degree weather. Both sinks in my bathrooms fell from the counter and had to be re-affixed. Energy bills tripled in winter due to poor insulation. The floors are uneven with a slab of concrete directly below the hardwood - draws in dressers will open because the floors are literally tilted. The leasing office is a disaster and is essentially a puppet of the (incredibly stingy and cheap!) management company. LR management is impossible to get a hold of - they have NEVER, not once, picked up the phone or returned a voicemail. In sum: SAVE YOUR MONEY… go elsewhere. This place is NOT worth the hassle, even for a short stay.
By the way, tenants are incentivized with raffles etc. to share their reviews. Please do not assume that folks ran to google to sing the praises of this complex of their own volition.

Been here for 2 weeks. Older structure but functional and clean.
Everyone comes and goes peacefully.
Quiet area. I am satisfied with my unit. Nachelle in the front office is attentive and helpful.
I dont have any issues as of yet. I appreciate having dumpsters within walking distance.

Don't live here from the day one we moved in we had so many maintenance problems ,bathroom sink was not ceiled properlyand water was leaking, kitchen sink was not ceiled properly it was leaking, and the countertop was not ceiled properly. They keep closing the issues without fixing.the tenant on top they had dog they left out in patio that would pee which leaked down to our patio we raise complaint they convinced us that they grow plant the water is dripping. On top of it we have washer dryer issues where they have given the very very old one I think it will run for around 3 hour for one wash and the lint they dont have proper vent it will circulate inside the house in food water etc again they convinced as saying other house have same problem only u are raising issues .and the window got stuck and water overflowing, inside the house during the rainy days ,again we ourselve tried to fix as they dint turned up.and here came the very big problem the ceiling above the kitchen started leaking .how much to face and how much to manage .other than this we had heater outage when we raised complaint they said about 8 house got the same problem we will try to fix and they took 7 days to do this again we suffered a lot . And the management ,first management said this is renovated house and with this all problem we lived then second management they said its half renovated ,they keep changing everything and they were very very rude to us .
