We moved here in 2022 and were so incredibly happy with this place, there’s probably a review from me stating as much. Price was good, everyone was friendly and maintenance was fast. There is even a 24 hour maintenance guarantee. Maple Grove offered free heat/water/trash, while Maple Grove Creek offered a dishwasher and in unit laundry. A year in, we learn that our utilities were no longer covered AND RENT WOULD GO UP $50. Fine, well, bull, but still a nice place. Plus, when we were choosing between Grove and Creek I specifically asked about how heat and water billing works because I didn’t want a place thst divided a combined bill between several units, and was assured even in Creek that isn’t done, it’s awful that it happens. Guess how our utilities are billed? Now in 2026 our rent is $200 more than when we moved in and we pay utilities. But we don’t have any of those amenities that Creek gets for the same price. And maintenance? While they are very friendly, they show up when they show up. Including for inspections when they tell us a day they’ll be there and when makeup days are, none of it matters. The office manager won’t even be honest about their guarantee telling me it’s emergency only when the flyer on their site says specifically routine only. So while a few years ago I was recommending this place, I can’t say the same now.

I moved into Maple grove on May 2nd. The girl who did the tour with me did not tell me there was only one washer and dryer for the whole building and the washer and dryer do not work and are covered in dirt and dust and you also have to get a $5 laundry card every single time you need to do laundry. She did not say the oven is basic as hell and doesn’t even have a timer, there’s no microwave or dishwasher either. When I called today about the washer & dryer not working she said we don’t deal with those it’s a 3rd party that comes out and “hopefully” fixes them. She said Maple Creek is the one that has in-unit laundry (she did not say anything like this during the tour or our emails) or I would’ve most definitely went there instead. The doorknobs are loose. The main window screen is coming off and there is no bottom lock on any of the doors including the entrance. I had to pay $1900 to the guarantors program that doesn’t get refunded on top of a month of rent and security deposit to move in. If she would’ve been more transparent and communicated better with me I would’ve never moved here. Take your money somewhere better.
I love the landscape and unique look to the complex, there is so much potential for this place but unfortunately the "property manager" or Beztak just does not care enough to have their property be cherished.
The amount of unkept branches from storms and litter everywhere is just sad. The electrical peds being wide open just to admire? For almost 2 whole years?
An email blast was sent out about being responsible for dog waste, but the main issue is that they don't have a regular schedule to check the bins and empty them and they get overfilled, the bags haven't been restocked in God knows how long. Most pet owners are going to carry bags and pickup after their dog it's common courteousy - but if you have a structured system where stuff is emptied and replaced when it is "offered" normally people will follow through. If people see litter and other disposals lying around they are gonna naturally start to not care because no one else does and there will be no impact made.
So please as someone who wants to see this place be lifted and feel comfortable. Establish a system for maintenance on the grounds?
Have someone be able to tend to the dumpster area after trash removal day, the trucks drop so much stuff and glass just gets broken and this is not safe. Especially when I have seen children play in the dumper area (this is on the parents mostly, but it's a two way street).
Also provide a better way for us to come and go? We have to avoid going through trenches because of the pot holes.
Stop advertising a "state of the Arc" gym. It's an elliptical machine and a treadmill in a small room behind the leasing office. It's not special.
There is also another review that was posted recently about leaking sewage in the basement, I want to make notice that this is likely in every unit? The washing room is just pitiful, smells, and the storage unit areas are just full of trash and have heavy amounts of water damage.
The only thing that is relatively professional and makes this place feel comforting is the tenants being friendly and helpful, the leasing agents are genuine and attentive.
The maintenance manager was great but they terminated him for who knows why.
The property manager will likely leave a comment on this and ask to be "emailed directly about the conerns" but this is just a copy and paste message that gets attached to every review? Where is the commitment to seeing the concerns for the people who live here?

Best apartments I've lived in so far. You can't beat a two bedroom apartment that has a washer and a dryer with a laundry room inside of your own apartment with central air even. Oh my goodness I'm in heaven. Also everything is high efficiency so bills are cheap as well. It's a wonderful place to live at.
