The first several months have been decent. We’ve only been here for 9.. Minor occurrences, typical apartment noise, but overall pretty good nothing out of the ordinary.. I hate the windows don’t open up, but the views are nice, the cleaning lady and maintenance actually care about the property, fix things in a reasonable time etc.. However, I WASN’T aware of how large, growing student population around here. It wasn’t emphasized when I took a tour, etc. I was just attracted to the 4 bedrooms, price, and amenities compared to where we were before in West Bloomfield. Then the new college students came in… and all of a SUDDEN! living here has become borderline dangerous, excessively loud for no good reason at all! Like, there are families and elderly persons living in these communities. NOT JUST YOU! Loud music, yelling, screaming and running up and down the hallways until 3 am when people who live here have small kids, go to work or wherever at different times is COMPLETELY outrageous! It CLEARLY SAYS QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 10pm-7am! No decorum at ALL! And they leave trash outside the dumpsters and parking lots now. That’s NEVER HAPPENED since I’ve lived here, that attracts unwanted critters. Some of the people here are selfish and inconsiderate of others mental health and safety. Go live in an actual college dorm, and stop making living miserable for others on purpose!

I’ve lived in the Arbor Lofts for two years now and the staff here compares to no other staff! Especially Paul, he has gone above and beyond for me to make sure my experience is easy and hassle free. It’s pretty rare to find such great people who are willing to work with you like Paul is, so I am extremely grateful to have had the experience to work with this amazing staff, and look forward to continuing this relationship. Amazing building, amazing staff 10/10!!

Do not live on the fourth floor. We lived on the corner unit facing stairs and elevator. Prior to pandemic, it was never that bad. You will hear everything now. People playing music and having phone calls on speaker aloud in the halls. Just why? The walls are poorly insulated so you can hear them playing Family Guy reruns, moaning noises, and even so loud that you can Shazam your neighbors’ playlist through the wall. The guy next door uses bass on speaker and loud parties into 3am into morning, knocked down our picture frames while slamming his friends against the shared wall. You can smell weed through the vents and also hear when people use the bathroom. We had to flip the bed/living space because there was always noise. Insanity.
