  Usually I hate getting into new apartments because of the hassle of it but Shawne and Becky actually made it a great and easy experience, on top of that the apartments are in great condition and look lovely 100% would recommend this place to others

  Well to start off, 3-4 weeks after moving in to a filthy broken down unit I was blessed with cockroaches! My nice brand new $14,000 furniture had to be sprayed with chemicals. FUN! Not to mention working full time, right after unpacking, i had to repack and clear everything for the pest company to come. They hired such a professional company i couldn't be given a day nor a time so me and my service dog had to vacate and go stay at a friends for 9 days till service could be completed. Immediately upon their entrance they turned off my wifi so my cameras could not record them and their job. The morning after my initial move in, I was awoken by a maintenance supervisor and a cleaning lady at 8am with my boxes everywhere because of my walk through photos i had submitted showed poor conditions. Every business knows your supposed to complete repairs and clean the unit before handing over keys. My buildings main outside safety spotlight strobed the entirety of my residence "1year" with numerous work orders submitted explaining I had a seizure disorder and was scared to walk my service dog after dusk! That it was extremely dangerous to me and posed a huge risk but obviously it wasn't on their top priority list. The lights on my stairwell were broken as well and had numerous people fall and get hurt again with always the promise of work orders to be fulfilled. The stairs were a death trap!! They had them sealcoated in OCT/NOV with the company to never return to finish and seriously almost died numerous times with the office staff admitting they were dangerous and we're so sorry and always promising would be fixed. Still to this day the lights and stairs have never been touched! I fell down the stairs in January only to go to the ER to find out I was pregnant with a hematoma surrounding the baby from fall. Also LOVED when the maintenance man ROGER was so professional and kind to blast music at 7:45am on a Friday morning below me, 5mnts pregnant with no resolution after contacting the office. He did it again the next morning adding screaming and cussing along with music because I guess I wasn't worthy of sleep! "My rent had never once been late!" DTE brought to my attention that the electrical panel had not been serviced since 2005 and to top it off my 13 month lease I begged to be let go 1 month early due to my baby's arrival and my fear of seizures from their still broken lights, "which is against the Americans with disabilities act" plus many other obvious dangers and they would not work with me whatsoever! No one in the office has your best concern at heart including the new management! Good luck getting a return phone call or email from ANYONE in the office! Let alone i was promised a key fob for their gym, lounge with pool table ect and the rest of the front office amenities only to finally receive it the month I moved out! Also their laundry facilities are a joke and I had to clean them in entirety ever time I used them because no 1 up keeps them and are beyond disgusting! I have pics and videos for all that i state. My neighbor below me told me he had cockroaches after his move in as well. They refused to treat the entire building only my unit and the empty unit next to mine. My unit had never been painted and begged for paint for my cupboards because they were seriously brown and super embarrassing! They never would be so kind in doing so. So I had to live in a unit that properly represented the dump i stayed in the entire year of my stay. The months before my lease ending i begged them to please work with me on 1 month termination since i was due to have a baby and it was in unsafe conditions and they refused. Well couldn't even get them on the phone to discuss the matter. I explained i will gladly go to court with my medical documents and the risks posed upon me from failing to ever fix dangerous working saftey requirements! The treatment I received there was less than friendly or professional and do not recommend. I had numerous neighbors move in and right back out! ALL PICS ARE ON VILLAGE CLUB APTS SITE

  Going through a huge makeover! The staff and general manager have been great to work with. Extremely understanding and supportive.
