Gus was a true professional and he answered every question that I asked. He also kept me informed on every phase of the repairs that he was working on. I am grateful!

I do feel like my rent should be locked. After so many yrs living here! But it goes up, and my place stays the same. And no pool.

Absolutely terrible place to live. They charge you $125 move out inspection fee and then make up lies about damages in your unit and charge you an arm and a leg upon move out. The office staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. Maintenance frequently enters units without notice or permission and leaves doors open and lights on constantly, wracking up the already overpriced electric bill due to old equipment. Property is not maintained well. Would never recommend moving here. You’re better off living in a car than this overpriced dump.

It started off as a great experience and over the past year I was being harassed by the office with multiple accusations of odors coming from my apartment however with each Inspection nothing was found. My security deposit was kept and I was charged $710 on top of that when I had the apartment professionally cleaned and the place was cleaner the day I moved out than it was when I moved in. Maintenance frequently entered my apartment without notice, which is illegal. The office staff is extremely rude and always in a bad mood. The inspections were allegedly for water leaks however the three water leaks I had the entire 3 1/2 years I lived there were not even addressed or fixed once. Nothing in this world could ever make me recommend this complex to anyone. I was charged for cat urine on the walls yet I never had a cat and there was no urine on the walls. This place is not well maintained and they just take money from you wherever they can. I have a detailed video of the apartment before I turned in the keys as well as multiple photos. The only mark on the wall is from where my bed sat for 3 1/2 years. I would love for someone to show me where the animal urine stains are on the walls in the dining room and bedrooms. Also $30 for ten damaged blind slats?! There were 3, and one set of those cheap blinds doesn’t even cost $30 let alone $30 for the slats. But $700 worth of damages???? Where? I understand replacing the carpet but that’s something that’s always done when someone moves out so I should not be charged for that. Every single person in any of the buildings around me and my own building had the carpet ripped out and replaced up one move out. What a scam. Don’t move here unless you want to be harassed and ripped off.
EDIT:
I attempted to dispute the charges and they told me they were going to refund my security deposit “as a courtesy” and in return send me to collections for the full amount of my security deposit, UNLESS I agreed to let them keep it. The photo proof of damages they sent me was staged as that was not the condition that I left the apartment in and my photos and video evidence prove that. Greedy and crooked company with the most awful
And rude staff I have ever encountered in my life. I’ve been living in apartments for 21 years and never in my life have I not gotten a security deposit back or been treated so terribly. If I had the money to take them to court I would without question.

My experience at Oaks at Hampton has been extremely disappointing. The level of professionalism from the staff (Jennifer )has been unacceptable. Concerns are met with indifference, poor communication, and a lack of urgency, leaving residents feeling ignored and disrespected. The condition of the apartment is equally concerning. The bathtub is chipped and peeling, which is not only unsightly but raises serious questions about the property maintenance standards. Issues that should be addressed promptly appear to be overlooked, creating the impression that resident satisfaction is not a priority. Residents pay significant rent and deserve a clean, safe, and properly maintained home along with respectful, professional management. Based on my experience, Oaks at Hampton has failed to meet those basic expectations. Unless there are substantial improvements in both property maintenance and customer service, I would strongly encourage prospective tenants to carefully consider other options before signing a lease here.
