    Terrible experience living at Saddle Creek Apartments. During my stay, the water tank leaked and flooded my entire hallway and living room. I submitted an emergency maintenance request because I was concerned about mold, but nobody was sent out for about a week. When I moved in, residents were instructed to use the work order system through the portal. However, when I later emailed the property manager, I was told work orders were only for non-emergencies. Maintenance eventually came out and fixed the tank, but my carpet was still completely soaked. I had to contact the property manager again before someone was finally sent to clean the carpet and address potential mold concerns. My original work order was submitted on 6/9/25, and the carpet was not properly cleaned until 6/18/25. As someone who is immunocompromised and has pets, this was extremely concerning and unacceptable. The issues continued after move-out. My lease ended on 4/6/26, and as of 5/26/26 I am still being charged for both DTE and Consumers Energy services totaling hundreds of dollars, despite no longer living there. DTE even notified me that another tenant had already moved into the unit, yet the utilities are somehow still under my account. I have repeatedly emailed the property manager trying to resolve this issue, but responses often take 1–2 weeks, if I receive one at all. Out of all the apartment complexes I have lived in, this has by far been the worst experience.

    Richard delivered excellent maintenance service—very prompt and efficient. I submitted the request in the evening, and the issue was resolved the next day. I really appreciate the quick response.
