  Moving out of Water’s Edge this week after 2 years here and I’ll be sad to go! I’m not leaving for any reason with the complex — just buying a house when renting stopped being my best option. Having done a couple Lansing area apartments, though, this one has been my favorite: a unit that was a great size and layout for me, location ideal to access all of Delta Twp’s grocery shopping and Horrocks, and great communal amenities like the pool and deck with the grill (and although I didn’t have a dog, it was nice to be able to use the dog run when my parents dropped their dog off for spring break babysitting). What I’d really commend about Water’s Edge, though, is the onsite staff who are so responsive and helpful to residents despite having to deal with factors like maintenance work order backlog or administrative delays. Audrey and Shelby were always incredibly quick to respond to any questions I had and when an error with another resident’s utility setup resulted in my utility service being accidentally cancelled, they informed me right away and helped me fix the issue so my power was never turned off, and ensured no fines were applied to my account because of the issue. The difference between my prior complexes and Water’s Edge in terms of the level of communication & attention to residents’ needs has been night and day and the staff deserve a ton of credit for that. If you’re moving in, I’d recommend taking advantage of what the area has to offer, especially the sidewalk on Canal Rd. that leads to the walking trail just south of the complex — you can take it all the way to the Delta branch of the Capital Area District Library, which might be one of the nicest library facilities I’ve ever been to and is a great option if you’re working from home and want a change of scenery.

  Allen the Maintenance Man does a great job and is quick and efficient each time. The Waters Edge staff take emergency maintenance requests seriously and make sure things are taken care of in a timely manner. I wish I could give 6 stars.

  Very prompt service provided by Allen, the maintenance man at Waters Edge Apartments… he is very knowledgeable in all maintenance requirements/tenant’s requests.

  Genuinely, I have only been here for over a month, and this is the best residential experience I am ever experiencing. Beautiful apartment that fits exactly my needs, quiet community, friendly neighbors, amazing maintenance team, and a stellar front office. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to starting a new chapter in their life. ❤️ You will not regret it!
