Had the pleasure of touring marketplace apts today with Zach, one of the most exceptional salesmen I’ve ever encountered. Super friendly and charming. The facilities were beautiful as well, I will definitely be applying

Took a tour with Eris, very friendly and the apartments / building were great. Met the maintenance man Chris who seemed very friendly. I appreciated the time they took to show me around.

I STRONGLY recommend looking elsewhere. My experience at these apartments was extremely frustrating, and I would not choose to live here again. 1. Safety Concerns: One night while sitting in my car, a homeless person attempted to open my car door while I was inside. There are frequently people walking through the parking lot late at night, and it can feel unsafe. I've also seen individuals going through the trash in front of the building without any visible response from management. 2. Unethical Management: I requested a transfer from a first-floor unit because I was uncomfortable with people constantly walking past my window. When I viewed the new unit, it had visible issues, including flooring that appeared to have water damage and broken tile (See photos). Based on the condition, I chose not to proceed and did not sign a lease for that unit. Despite this, management later charged me a $1,079 reletting fee, arguing that my prior move-out notice was no longer valid. I ultimately paid it to avoid a prolonged dispute and not pay additional court fees. It's really unfortunate that this was my experience in my first apartment after graduating from MSU. 3. Building Conditions: Lastly, there are often foul-smelling odors that are random throughout the building. Don't believe me? Just take a look at the other reviews I don't recommend living here.
