  it takes an absurd amount of time for maintenance or the office to get back to you. We've had a problem with leaking water from our kitchen cabinet (which smells likes sewer, it just stinks) since we moved in. it's not even from our apartment it's coming from the one above us. it starts in the walls and then it starts coming out the cabinet. then ifs its a lucky day it goes under the kitchen sink!😁 The main doors into the buildings are easily breakable and the door handle to get out the building has broken off multiple times. someone even stole the handle leaving me and my family unable to exit that door. we had to go all the way to the other side of the building just to leave. we told the office staff and they told us 'it might not get fixed today'. if someone were to start a fire or there was something terrible to happen people wouldn't be able to get out the building! Since they use an AI answering service, its hard to get in contact with office staff when you need them because the AI will say if its an emergency someone will text or call you back and it hangs up in your face. as usual with most cheap apartment complexs, the walls are not insulated correctly, there are gaps where the carpet and wall meet, and cheap carpets that get moist during the hotter weather. Plus if anyone below you or above you is a smoker, you will smell it all day, everyday, every hour. it comes up from the floor and stays in the room. even if you try to air it out. Also, parking is a disaster. people have visitors who don't park in visitor parking, taking up all the spaces by your building. which causes you to park a lil walk from your building.

  Honestly the filtest apartment I have ever stayed in. The building is infested with Rats, Mice and cockroaches. I should of known something was up when I saw a dead mouse in my dishwasher the day of move in. We have notified management 4 times. Their solution is always to spray peppermint around the house and and put steel wool down instead of finding the source of the infestation. We killed ten Mice last week alone. The mice are now getting aggressive to the point where they crawl in our beds at night. Two were in my bed last night. I honestly hope the health department comes and shuts this place down. I do not suggest renting here unless you want vermon and bugs to become ur roommates.

  I really wouldn’t recommend this place over any other place in Kzoo. Natasha is a wonderful lady that works too hard for this place, and cares so much about the community that you’ll see everyone knows her. She is great. last year they moved me in without a dishwasher and without working AC for a couple of weeks they were still cleaning my apartment by the time I came there and it was still so dirty that I had to spend the next whole day cleaning 1000sqft their maintenance is an absolute joke and their staff isn’t really equipped with the tools necessary to take on normal maintenance work such as making key copies. despite this, the historic buildings are degrading, and this is why it is so hard for them to keep it up, as well as as they do not properly clean the carpets they just vacuum and sweep my hallways, remain stained and smelling like my neighbors dogs the entire time I stayed there. Once I almost had my amazon package stolen from my doorstep, they have no safe delivery system and some random kids grabbed my boxes, thankfully I was tracking the deliver so I saw them in the stairwell and got my cat supplies back but they didnt even have cats they were just really absent parents and angsty kids that were stealing packages probably not for the first time. I had no working laundry units on my floor the ENTIRE 8 months I had lived there. It was so bad I had to go to other buildings for half my stay before they had TWO working machines for the entire building. Not living there anymore is just a blessing for me, Poor Natasha, I hope they pay her well. I’d like to close these statements and say if you’re reading all of this and absolutely still have to stay here, just do it temporarily as this is not a safe place for most people
