  I have been having a terrible experience with Gillespie Group. When I moved in, the dryer was broken, the garbage disposal was broken and plugging the sink, meaning the dishwasher didn’t work, either. The window on the patio sliding glass door needed and still needs some kind of vapor seal. It took at least a month for anyone to respond to fix things, and the dishwasher is now broken again, with no help in sight. You have been billing me for renters insurance and I already had it. I am telling everyone I know how poorly run this place is.

  I stopped into the leasing office to check the status of my work order for my filter. A member from the management team was there and jumped up into action and walked up to the service shop and hand delivered the filter to me in the office. I appreciated the urgency in resolving my request.

  My husband and I signed a lease here a week ago and unfortunately have had nothing but issues since moving in. The place was really dirty. While moving in we realized the A/C didn’t work. That night temps were around 77 in our apartment. I put in a ticket that next morning. I didn’t hear anything so I call the emergency line the day after. They are unable to fix it but bring a portable unit. It barely does anything and half the apartment is sweltering hot; with temps reaching the high 80s. It’s cooler outside than inside. Any time we cook it makes the problem much worse. After 4 days and no word from them, I walk down to the front office after work and she tells me someone will be by the next day. Guess what? No one ever showed up and I never received an update. My husband walked down there today after work to ask about it. Kendra, working at the leasing office just shrugged and said they were supposed to come by today. He gave her the list of other items that need to be fixed and she had an attitude about it. Still couldn’t really give an update on what to expect on the A/C repair but claims they will “be by tomorrow” again. It’s going to be 90 degrees the next two days- we are under a literal heat advisory and my husband had a heart attack making this kind of heat a health concern, they don’t care about that either. On top of that the garbage disposal, master toilet, and washing machine are broken.. no update on when those will be fixed either. Believe all of the reviews that mention the nightmares around getting anything taken care of. They will lie to you about maintenance coming. We gave them almost 4k to move in here and already regret it. This is a place that only looks nice from the outside. Update: No one from the leasing office will return our calls or emails. The corporate office refuses to talk to us and redirects us back to the leasing office.
