Ohh, not sure where to start.. We deeply agree with a lot of the bad reviews this complex has:
1. The experience was nothing like the Luxury apartments. They advertise them to be. The trim and appliances are very cheap and not quality whatsoever.
2. The grills were an absolute nightmare, they sucked and took an hour to even get hot in the three years that we lived there. We really didn’t use them because they were unusable. Yet the complex doesn’t allow you to have your own grill. make it make sense.
3. Before we moved in, it was falsely advertised that there was a dog park, it took for us moving in, attempting to use it, and calling them out for it to get removed from advertisement
4. The trash was almost always flooding over, leaving no place to put trash except the ground.(not very Luxury one bit like they advertised.)
5. As the name suggests the apartments were located in a meadow, but they have destroyed the meadow entirely to fill it with more mid tier apartments.
6. For 4 years, we had to wake up to construction outside our window before 8 AM. While this might not be the biggest deal for some other people who work third shift it may be, and was never the Luxury peaceful feeling that they advertised.
7. I had to call the police because they harassed me and put a bunch of sticky stuff on my car. The cops were able to figure out that it was 100% on them and made them fix it after the apartment told me there was no way they would fix it.
8. We were wrongfully accused of smoking in our apartment, but the maintenance dude thankfully talk sense into Christian, the office lady and made her realize it was the neighbors and not us.
9. The upstairs neighbor had water leaking through her bathtub since it was installed wrong, causing our bathroom to flood. They fixed the upstairs leak, but never fixed our ceiling and wall that was damaged from it.
10. Rent went up two of the years, but in my opinion the apartments were not worth what they wanted to get out of them, as said, in a previous statement, they were not Luxury as advertised
11. They make you submit a 60 day notice to move out or they charge you a bunch of money. I get finishing a lease but a 60 day notice is kind of unreasonable in some situations. Some people don’t know if they’re moving 60 days ahead or not with the housing market. It’s hard to even find places that far out.
I could go on and on with other instances of harassment, but I’m not going to spend my whole day on this. I feel very blessed to no longer live at this complex or to have to deal with the
parent company anymore. They are a very predatory company..
I highly recommend not moving here. In fact, I highly recommend not moving into any of Edward Rose And Sons properties. I promise you would be better long-term waiting for somewhere else.

Please don't bother.
Racist, rude, and disrespectful.
My husband and I scheduled a guided tour for 5:00 p.m. and arrived at the community only to be met with cold, racist, disrespectful demeanors. We introduced ourselves and let the staff know we were there for our scheduled appointment, which we had received a confirmation for. One staff member sarcastically remarked to her coworker, "Oh, so you think you are here for an appointment, hun." They both laughed before claiming there are no tours available until Aug 3rd, dismissing our confirmation by saying it was created by "that stupid AI." They then told us they had nothing available to show us and that tours would not be available until August 3.
That explanation raised concerns for two reasons. First, a Caucasian friend of mine toured the property just two weeks earlier. Second, after returning home, we were able to use the same online scheduling system—the same one they called "stupid AI"—to schedule another tour for the very next day.
Given those circumstances and the way we were treated, we were left questioning whether we were denied a tour because we are an African American couple.
If this is how prospective residents are treated before signing a lease, I encourage anyone considering this community (especially African Americans) to carefully think about whether this is the type of environment they want to call home. So sad it's individuals like the staff at Meadow Brooke that make living in America so disgraceful!
If no stars were available I would have definitely picked no stars.

Kendyll was very good. Answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable. She did not pressure us into anything, but was very helpful & let us know she was only a phone call away if we had anymore questions. I asked how long she has been with the Company & she said only 8 months, but we were very impressed with her knowledge. She was all about customer service & she was outstanding! 👏👏 I give Kendyll 10 stars and the property 9 stars! We did decide to go in another direction. Thank Kendyll! Appreciate you! Keep up the outstanding work that you do. 😉👏👏👏
