  They rip you off while vacating.....that is close to 2 months rent...... they just figure out one or the other reason... no matter.. how clean you hand over the apartment. They have 2 months compulsory notice period ( even if you want to vacate when your contract ends) plus 2 months contract breakage charges if you want to vacate before your contract ends.... if any unpredictable events you will end of up paying 4 months Rent + close 2 month towards wear & tear..while vacating the house. Signing contract with Muirwood is a BIG Trap.. you will realize not while entering only when exiting.

  Joe and two other people from Maintenance have come promptly to work on Maintenance Requests. I needed help with flashing lights and smoke detector beeping. I appreciate their assistance and always putting on shoe covers 😊

  Muirwood is a nice place to live, but the management is absolutely awful. They have extremely arbitrary rules (we can't have pumpkins or garland on our porch for holidays, for some reason, amongst other issues), but we can't count on them for even the most basic of upkeep and maintenance requests. We have had an emergency maintenance person be EXTREMELY rude to my girlfriend, going as far as to tell her that it was HER FAULT that the lock was jammed in our front door, or it taking 3 weeks for our maintenance requests to be fulfilled. The last straw was that we needed a light fixture replaced and could not find the fuse panel, because it was hidden behind a panel in the wall. Upon receiving the keys, our apartment looked like it was minimally cleaned (basically the carpets were just replaced). Overall, I do feel like I want to give them SOME credit, since the apartment is nicer (debatable ) than our previous one, but this management company is absolutely awful. I am not one to normally complain, but unless you can get a great deal here or have no other choice, I would say look elsewhere, simply for the management issues alone.

  I want to give a huge shoutout to maintenance woman Natalie!! I recently started having issues with my dishwasher. Several maintenance men came out to look at it but none of them were able to repair it, which was beyond frustrating. Natalie came inspected the dishwasher and told me what the issue was. She recommended that a new dishwasher needed to be installed. Natalie removed the broken dishwasher and installed the new one within an hour. She was very polite, professional and overall awesome. Keep up the great work and thanks for the great service Natalie!

  I have lived here for about 1 year now. I have had a few issues including little maintenance things and also a rodent in my vents but the complex was pretty quick to fix every issue. You do have to stay on top of your request though to make sure it gets done or else it will not. I have been pretty satisfied overall though. The two complaints I have is the amount of children unsupervised around the complex, as well as no sidewalks. It is dangerous on the roads when driving and children are running around everywhere. And as for the side walks, a lot of people spend the day walking around and choose to walk in the middle of the road and do not move when you are driving. Other then that i have had a good experience while living here.
