  First day upon move-in the internet was not working. My second night there my car was broken into. Reported it, asked if they had cameras. Nope! Okay, can I have a weapon to defend myself? Nope! Turns out there is a history of people having stuff stolen from their cars, and the apartment has neglected to provide any security measures. It's contradictory to not install any security measures and also neglect resident's the ability to defend their property. By extension if someone left their apartment door unlocked and someone waltzed in just to steal stuff then you would not be able to defend yourself. I don't know if an intruder is armed or not so IF an intruder was armed I would be defenseless. If they are not armed and just came in to steal stuff you still wouldn't be able to do anything and the apartment wouldn't even take it seriously seeing as there is a history of reports of stuff being stolen and car break-ins and has neglected to provide any security measures.

  No Verizon cell service at 25 East!!! My kid just moved in and we can't even call, only text. Additionally, the building's internet is so poor that even Wi-Fi calls drop (and not all the students have moved in yet, so it will only get worse). My student is very stressed about not being able to call home! It will be a pain and added expense to switch just one person off our Verizon plan to a different service provider. I agree with other reviews, that it was a bit of a bait and switch. Toured a nicer cleaner unit and moved into a much smaller unit.

  Do not live here if you value where your money goes. 25 east is the definition of subpar and use the cheapest material that look 'aesthetic'. Had multiple issues with mold, water heater leakage, and grime. I had come in to the office and say, "if this mold is not fixed in x amount of days I am going to call the city" for any action to take place. Any good reviews that are left for them are there because they have to run promotions and incentives for residents to counteract and bury the reviews they do get. New management comes and takes over the place every year. Pricing is absurd for the quality of the units and amenities. Do not recommend to anyone!

  If I could give 0 stars I would!! Do not live here!!!! They charge you for things you didn’t damage upon move out and expect you to have a TIMESTAMPED photo of it. We had many issues with management as well as maintenance requests that never got fixed but they said was resolved regardless of putting in the request multiple times. I was also charged for “miscellaneous” without being told what the charge was for!! There are many better apartment complexes you could live at. I don’t believe they genuinely care about their residents!! I never leave a bad review but this was insane!
