Ivy provided exceptional service. I am a returning resident of The Pavilion and have always found the staff and atmosphere to be top notch. Ivy was clear about the application process, answered our questions before we could answer them and made us feel like we were home again.,

I have lived at the Pavilion for over 10 years because this place truly feels like home. I think it is one of the better places to live downtown. I have to say that it is very well kept up, and it is beautiful. I know a lot of people might not notice the little details, but I do, and everything down to the landscaping is top tier. Our windows and views are literally impossible to beat. My unit is very spacious. There are a lot of things to love about living here like our beautiful park, and the fact that we’re close enough to downtown, but set far enough away that it’s peaceful and serene. Our pool and gym are wonderful as well. However, what really makes this place feel like home is the staff. I really feel safe and well taken care of here by the staff members. They are like my family. Ivy holds it down in the office. She is always kind, and patient. She makes stressful situations seem like another walk in the park and takes care of things quickly. Our Consierge staff is definitely the highlight of living in our building. Some of them have been here longer than I have. James runs this building like it is his own home and keeps a watchful eye over everything. He is one of the most professional people I have ever met and I feel lucky that he is one of the first people I see when I get home every day. Andrel is an absolute angel. She is like a mother to this place. Always greets everyone with a smile, and beautiful spirit. Our maintenance staff works tirelessly. Special shout out to Tony and Antonio, Nestor and Betty for keeping this place running and looking beautiful all of the time. Somehow, the staff here is never stressed out, and they are always happy to help. I don’t know anybody else who is as happy as I am in their apartment downtown.

I am writing to share my wonderful experience with Tyra Hampton. She is extremely professional, informative, accommodating, transparent, detail-oriented, and highly efficient in her role. Tyra goes above and beyond for both applicants and residents. Her high energy and welcoming demeanor immediately sold me on the property, and I knew right away that this would be my home because of her. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a new place to live. Stacey K

I called The Pavilion home for just over three years (April 2023 – June 2026), living in a spacious 590 sq ft studio on the 17th floor, city‑side. There's a premium for the river view, but honestly, the city view was spectacular. On July 4th, you can watch fireworks popping across the suburbs for hours. On Lions game days, you see waves of Hawaiian blue flowing toward Ford Field. And you always know when Eastern Market is open — the energy is unmistakable. Over the years, Pavilion management made real improvements to the building. New washer/dryers with an easy smartphone app, a refreshed office area with a printer (10 free pages a month), three stainless‑steel grills in the courtyard, regular landscaping and tree pruning, a renovated 3rd‑floor gym, and updated décor throughout the common areas. The storage cages on the second floor were a huge bonus too — perfect for keeping your apartment clutter‑free. The Pavilion team — management, maintenance, and janitorial — genuinely creates a sense of community. They decorate for the holidays, host events like the spring food truck (the burger truck is elite), and keep the building feeling lively. I met a lot of great people here: elevator laughs, sports nights on the big screen in the community room, poolside conversations. And if you wander into the office area, Sherman will absolutely talk your ear off if you let him — fair warning. I’ve seen a few of the 1‑star reviews floating around, but honestly, my experience was the opposite. Apartment living is what you make of it — bring good vibes, communicate with the staff, and you’ll have a great time. I certainly did. The mature Locust tree canopy surrounding the building and stretching into Lafayette Park adds a peaceful touch to the whole environment. I’m grateful for the years I spent here.
