  After months of looking for a place to call home everything about Lafayette west apartments kept bringing me back. The location the peaceful energy and the exceptional help and professionalism from Aundrea Dorsey sealed the deal for me. I can’t wait to move in at the end of October and make this my new home.

  So many good things to say about this experience! Kim, the office manager, is extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help with every question, tour, concern, and found me a great unit with the view I wanted. After I moved in and had some questions and a concern, she handled right away and even checked in. She helped every step of the way when I really needed it as a recent widow. The apartment itself is beautiful, modern, feels safe, and is in the perfect location. The building is quiet, which is rare to find and while you can hear others in the hallway when you walk by, that's really it and the units themselves are super quiet inside. The appliances are a HUGE upgrade for me and everything has been better than expected. I'm really thankful for the kindness of Kim and the team. I hope things continue to be great, but I've had a great and easy experience moving in and living here for the last two months. Feels like a hidden gem. :)

  Kim Meerhaeghe and Aundrea Dorsey were great people! They helped a lot with giving us information about the apartments and were great tour guides!

  I had such a great experience working with Kim at Lafayette West. I was moving from California to Detroit, so finding an apartment from across the country was definitely stressful, but Kim made the entire process so much easier. From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful, responsive, and patient with all of my questions. She really took the time to understand what I was looking for and helped me find an apartment that I genuinely love. I never felt pressured, and it honestly felt like she cared about helping me find the right place rather than just trying to make a sale. The whole leasing process was smooth and easy, especially considering I was doing everything remotely. Kim was always there to help and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I couldn't be happier with my apartment at Lafayette West, and I'm so glad I had Kim helping me along the way. If you're looking for an apartment at Lafayette West, I highly recommend working with Kim. She made moving halfway across the country feel a lot less overwhelming, and I really appreciate everything she did to help me find my new home!
