  It’s ok, I don’t know what unit y'all in that have mice because I haven’t seen one yet at all thankfully and it’s been months. Also it should be assigned parking because at night you gotta park far from your unit and it be other people here taking the spots. I’m in a studio apartment here and my neighbors upstairs have a child that’s stomping all day long and I have to sit in my place just hearing it. When I complained they told me I can upgrade to a 1 bedroom. I’m the only person in this building that has no kids. I feel like they could’ve offered to move me to another unit or something else. They were kinda rude about it when I kept emailing them about it. But it’s affecting my routine, and even waking me up from my sleep all day. Just be conscious about that when touring and asking questions because if you’re at the bottom you hear your upstairs neighbors all day. But other than that no complaints. Just inconsiderate neighbors!

  So let’s me clear. When I did the tour, it was very nice, but since I’ve been living here, I can honestly say they do not keep up with maintenance. They are definitely overcharging for these apartments. The grounds of the establishment is nasty because they don’t keep up maintenance. The people here are sweet as pie. But they also have people that live here That are nasty that leaves garbage out everywhere. when it’s nighttime, there’s a heavy infestation of rats and also a heavy infestation of ants and spiders in the units. It’s hard to get maintenance because you have to email them several times before they actually come and get to you. My apartment was leaking from a young woman upstairs who tub overflowed. They only came and looked at my apartment once and told me that was normal and did nothing about it.. Now let’s talk about rent. They are overcharging for studios and two bedrooms. Also hitting you with too late fees if you are late. When I moved in, they tried to hustle me and gave me two different Deposit to have to move in and then they try to tax on a $400 fee for a studio for my first month rent and to along with already 1,139.000 my first month live there and I wasn’t even there 30 days. Also, you have people that live in the area that hopped the fence and dive in the pool that don’t live in there. They have a nasty laundry room area until you complain about it and then they clean it up… I would not suggest anyone to live here. There are better places to live, but if you are desperate and like having your money taken, then by all means live here, but as much as they’re charging you, you might as well buy a house and pay mortgage and this is my honest opinion because I live here in 1013. The only person that is pleasant is the maintenance man who is Blak and the assistant that works for the property manager who was Blak.

  I lived here for the past 15 months and am only moving because I am being transferred for work. My stay here was perfect. Its very clear the manager and staff care about the property and the residents. Angela is one of those people who no matter what kind of day you are having can make you laugh. She handled the few issues I had quickly and efficiently. Melvin was always polite and professional. He completed my work orders the first time, usually the same day. I would absolutely live here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment.

  I have lived at this property since they started renovating it and cant say enough. I have lived in apartments my entire adult life and this place has the best management I have ever come across. Angela always makes time for the residents, and makes you feel like family. She runs a tight property that is quiet and clean, where everyone is welcomed and respected. Truly a unique Gem in Detroit. She deserves a promotion for the amazing job she does.
