  Great location for convenience and staying active, with plenty of trails and sidewalks nearby. The apartment layout is excellent—lots of storage, quality finishes, and attached garages. Minus one star for poor soundproofing. I’ve lived here for two years, and throughout that time, I’ve been able to hear my neighbor’s TV loud and clear through the walls. Sometimes, I even hear it through the electronic monitor in my kid’s bedroom. I can also hear water running from another neighbor’s shower. The soundproofing between units is very poorly done. Honestly, it comes down to luck—if you have quiet neighbors, you’re fine; if not, you’re stuck. And it’s not their fault—I’m sure they hear my daily life just as much as I hear theirs. Minus two stars for management. This is the most disappointing part. I expected that being locally managed would make them easier to work with, but it’s just like dealing with a big property management company: zero flexibility and unreasonable terms. They refuse to compromise on anything and pressure tenants into accepting all their conditions. A little common sense and fairness would go a long way and make a huge difference.

  We have lived at Parkways for almost 4 years now and really love it. When we first moved it was just going to be for a year until we found a house but we decided to stay after realizing that everything is taken care of for us. We have met wonderful neighbors, sit on our patio all summer long, turn on our fireplace in the winter, walk the Clinton River Trail which is right outside our door and have so many shops, etc nearby. The Moceri staff is great. It is definitely smaller than we were used to in our house but it’s amazing how little you need and can get used to.

  My husband and I moved here in September and have nothing but positive things to say. We had lived in a house for over 40 years so were a bit nervous about moving to an apartment, but our experience has been good. The women in the office are very helpful, especially Lisa. Whenever we have an issue, our work orders are taken care of quickly and professionally. We love the 2 car garages with access directly into our apartment on the first floor. There is also plenty of storage space for us in the garage and the apartment since we didn't downsize quite as much as we should have.
