Five Points is by far one of the best apartments in the area! I have lived here twice, since being built. Very competitive price point and great location. I was looking for a apartment back in 2024 doing a ton of research between price, location, amenities, best value for dollar etc. This apartment check the box for everything I was looking for. Dana (Leasing manager) was a great help for finding the right unit for me and was extremely helpful. In addition he was always very approachable during my time there for any questions I had (garage, maintenance, etc.)
The staff here is great between Dana (Leasing manger) and also Scott (maintenance worker) and others. Scott was always on top of everything from replacing filters, to doing ground work around the property. In addition to any maintenance require in the apartment such as replacing light bulbs in the kitchen, he came by and replaced them within a day. Which is unusual as most complexes require a work order, schedule a time and it becomes a long process and several days to get simple maintenance items done. The apartment complex staff feels more like a family staff than just a person doing there job.
The apartment was great, newer construction, great access to major roads (i75), college right across the street, downtown auburn hills only a few minutes away. The apartment was also quiet, rarely ever heard the neighbors, mostly friendly neighbors and a great apartment for the value. The only negative that I have (more or less the residents not the staff) would be the trash. The large recyclers/ trash for the residents overflow often due to residents placing trash on one side of the bin instead of opening the top and throwing it in. But overall I don't have any complaints.
Overall Five points is a great complex that has a great staff, good neighbors, amenities, pool area, good price point, and overall just a very well rounded spot to live at.
I really appreciate the outstanding help and support done by the administration staff of five points Mr Dana and Jacky.
Thanks to you both
I lived here for 2 years and absolutely loved it! Dana is very helpful with truly anything you may need, and is a great advocate for the residents. Maintenance is very responsive and friendly as well. Great amenities.
Possibly one of the best places to live in the Oakland University / Downtown Auburn Hills area. I've leased at a few other communities, including Auburn Ridge and Beacon Hill Apartments, and while those are great properties as well, Five Points stands out. It feels like you're actually getting good value for your money and not overpaying compared to many of the luxury-style apartments and townhomes in Auburn Hills and Rochester Hills.
The community is generally quiet and peaceful, with a good mix of college students, working professionals, and families. Most residents are respectful and keep to themselves, which creates a comfortable atmosphere. The property seems very well thought out, and it's often the small details that make a big difference. The owners and management have done an impressive job creating a community that simply works.
My only real complaint is the additional cost for parking, storage, and garages. If I remember correctly, covered parking is around $30 per month and garages are approximately $150 per month. That said, the appliances appear to be energy efficient, and our utility bills have been noticeably lower here than at previous places we've lived.
Overall, I'd give Five Points a 9/10. It's a great place to rent in Auburn Hills, and the location is hard to beat. Restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and everyday conveniences are all within walking distance or within 5. -10 mins driving. Honeslty - a few e-bikes , might be a good idea, save on gas , just make sense

I love these apartments. They are beautiful and very spacious. Down the Street from Oakland University. They have really huge walking closets and they have a pool and parking. My friend lives here. They are quite expensive.
