  1200 Blair and 1220 concierge, Toya, Jerry, Allen were incredibly helpful. Both buildings are immaculate. Busy residents from every walk of life. Convenient with Giant grocery store, CVS and restaurants. Easy walk into downtown and to the Metro. Highly recommend.

  I had a wonderful experience working with Omer Zalmai to find my new apartment at The Blairs! From start to finish, Omer demonstrated true professionalism, fantastic attention to detail, and a incredibly friendly, welcoming attitude that made the entire process smooth and stress-free. So far, my experience living here has been great. The grounds and building areas are exceptionally clean, the neighbors are friendly and respectful, and the community feels very safe. Plus, the location's close proximity to the metro makes commuting a breeze. Highly recommend working with Omer and the team!

  I’m so grateful for Omer Zalmai’s help! He is incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, kind, and truly takes the time to listen to your needs. He helped us find the right apartment and guided us through every step of the application process. What really stood out to me was the speed and professionalism. I had an application pending at a different community for two weeks with no update or progress. With Omer’s help, we were able to find the right apartment and receive our lease and welcome letter in less than 24 hours! If you’re looking for an apartment and need someone who is experienced, responsive, and genuinely cares about helping you, definitely ask for Omer Zalmai. I highly recommend him!

I appreciate their hard work and dedication as I found my new home! Also, super thankful for the amazing maintenance men, Rick and Jeremiah, as they are always kind and solution oriented! Highly recommend this amazing team!

  Blair Plaza was my home from June 2023 to May/June 2026. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend the complex! Pros- Location: a short walk to the metro station and good access to downtown Silver Spring, the Silver Spring Farmers' Market, the AFI Silver movie theater and more. Maintenance: the maintenance team is super responsive and nearly always fixes the issue the first time---huge shout out to them! Value: the rental rates here are good for the square footage and location; over my three years in the apartment, they only raised my monthly rates once Cons- Access to management: when I have needed to contact management, it was often been difficult to get ahold of them--they're always helpful once you get them, however. Fire alarm: it's like demons are screeching inside your head whenever this fire alarm goes off, and it goes off more often than I prefer! Laundry machines: the laundry machines on site are chronically out-of-order and always increasing in price. As you can see, the pros are huge and the cons are small. Definitely consider this spot if you're looking to live in Silver Spring!
