  I’ve been shopping around for apartments for a while now and this has been the best experience by far! India made me very comfortable in showing me the apartment, and she was very informative and overall had an amazing personality! Yasmin was also very helpful regarding information, two very lovely ladies in the leasing office with very positive attitudes! I will be applying thanks to them 🩷💕

  Living here has been a challenging and stressful experience. Leaks, water damage, plumbing issues. Management and maintenance are some of the most uncoordinated I have ever experienced in my 10 years renting. Scheduled maintenance does not show up most of the time. They have also been known to enter units without permission. Urgent repairs can take days, weeks unless tenants constantly go to the management office or the county to voice concerns. Burden of repairs should not fall on tenants! These units need extra care because of their age - such a shame that management is not up to par, as Falkland Chase has so much potential. Sadly, the owners do not seem interested in maintaining the property. I will not be renewing my lease here. Unless management can turn things around I strongly suggest people interested in living here reconsider!

  DO NOT MOVE HERE. I’ve lived here since 2021 and this place has massively gone downhill. Look next door at Lenox or somewhere else. I’m now paying almost $1700 for a 600 sq ft apartment. There was rain damage in most of the units and they simply painted over it. The fitness center is plagued with un working machines that they will never repair, the tv doesn’t work and the same goes for the washers and dryers. The package delivery system they completely turned off years ago. And the ONLY way to talk to the leasing office is through appointments now. They changed the locks to the building and didn’t give people keys, they thought taping the doors so that they would lock was good enough. If you need ANY more warning check out the neighborhood discord channel before signing here, your head will be in a better space if you don’t.

  I’m 82 and I think we lived on the 3rd floor in one of the Falkland Chase buildings in the summer of 1956. As I recall they were called the Falkland Apartments back then and I attended Eastern Junior High School (now called Eastern Middle School). I was born at Columbia Hospital in DC which is the same hospital that Duke Ellington, Al Gore and Julie Nixon Eisenhower were born. This apartment was the last place I lived before we moved to St Paul MN in early October 1956. I still live in St Paul and haven’t been to the DC area since the 1980s. Maryland was a wonderful place to be a kid in the 1940s and 1950s. Also Minnesota was a great place to be a kid in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It was my great fortune when we moved to St Paul because my wife was born and raised in this fine city. We met in 1961, married in 1965 and she passed away in 2021. Since my wife’s passing I’ve been living alone in the home we purchased in May 1976. My plans are to continue living alone for as long as I’m able.
