  First week here and the dryer is broken, pests near the garbage, and the fire alarm has gone off three times, twice in the night. No urgency to fix it, and elder residents are having issues getting up/down the stairs. Already excited to end my lease 🙏🏼

  The management team is good, and the maintenance team is also helpful. My concern is specifically with the building’s fire alarm system. The alarm has a serious recurring problem and goes off repeatedly—sometimes every few days, sometimes weekly, and sometimes several times a month, including very late at night. I am writing this review at 1:05 a.m., while the alarm is still sounding extremely loudly. My wife, my young children, and I were peacefully asleep when it suddenly woke all of us. The alarm can continue for 10–15 minutes, and the extremely loud noise is stressful, causes headaches, and makes it difficult to fall asleep again. The fire alarm system needs to be inspected and repaired as soon as possible so this ongoing problem can be permanently resolved. Before signing a lease or moving into this community, I strongly recommend asking management for confirmation that the recurring alarm issue has been fully repaired. Again, the management and maintenance teams are good; the fire alarm system is the issue that urgently needs attention.

  I had an excellent experience while looking for an apartment at The Residences at Congressional Village. Jeree is so personable and knowledgeable. She was available every step of the way to make sure I found the right apartment.

  My partner and I made the move from VA to MD. We were looking for an updated style apartment in an active area of the community. During our search we toured three places and this place beat all the rest. The area is great with plenty of shopping and food options, and the complex is beautiful. The staff are great and welcoming, which I noted on the initial tour that our wonderful tour guide Jeree knew each resident she passed as she showed us around. Jeree has been so helpful throughout the whole process, and she was definitely one of the main reasons we decided on this complex. When you tour a place and the staff look happy, and the residents look happy you know it’s a good one!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been living in this community for several years, and I can’t say enough great things about Jeree Gray. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance, she’s always been incredibly kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful. She takes the time to make sure everything is taken care of and always treats residents with respect and a smile. It’s clear that she truly cares about the people who live here, and that level of customer service is hard to find. Jeree consistently goes above and beyond, and she’s one of the reasons this community continues to be such a great place to live. Thank you for everything you do!
