  I'm giving a 2 due to the lack of follow up from the leasing office when I toured. The apartment building I viewed was nice. We liked that it's brand new. The area was quiet and nice. I was told by the leasing agent that she would send us an email with all the information, never received it. I called to let them know and left a call back number, no follow up. I called multiple times during the day and was met with a voicemail. This complex was my top choice, but the fact that I received no follow up is why I won't apply anymore. I can't trust that they will be responsive to me as a resident if they didn't care to reach out to a future one.

  I’ve had a great experience so far living at Elms at Shady Grove and my kids love it here! A huge shoutout to Hamzah for making this place feel like home. He is incredibly friendly and does a fantastic job keeping the community looking spotless. Plus, whenever I put in a maintenance ticket, it’s handled fast. Highly recommend!

  The community is amazing. The kindest staff and management. Tanner, Melanie, Ron, Patty, and Hamza have helped shape this place into one of my favorite places I’ve ever lived.

  I was so hyped to visit my brother and his wife in their new spot at The Elms at Shady Grove. First impressions? The grounds are clean, the vibe is quiet, and the location is definitely a plus. However, the energy shifted once I got inside their building (toward the back). The common areas are honestly filthy—stained carpets and food scraps everywhere. My brother said he’s reached out to management, but it doesn't look like a cleaning crew has touched the place since they touched down. It’s a beautiful complex, but if they don't get a handle on the upkeep and the neighbors who don't respect the property, it’s going to go downhill fast. Think twice if you value cleanliness as much as the aesthetic. This is my first time reviewing anything on google.. keep that in mind..

  Moved in October of 2025- and we are so in love with the area, our apartment, and all the amenities. Management is literally amazing and super hands on with the property, and residents. Melanie and tanner are so kind and they have been so welcoming. I couldn’t be happier where we are (: thank you to management at elms!
