  I would not recommend living here. The building has a serious pest problem, including mice, rats, and insects. Seeing pests around the property has become a regular issue, and it makes the place feel unsanitary and unsuitable for comfortable living. Management needs to take this problem seriously and provide a proper, long-term solution. I would strongly advise anyone considering moving here to think twice. You’ll pay rent for mace to live with everyday.

  I moved in to this horrible apartment in March. Since then I have had to make request, after request, after request. First it was as simple as one of the burners on my stove not working. They decided to replace the stove entirely and when I got home my apartment was filled with gas because they did not properly install it. I was terrified for my cat and luckily she didn't die. It was a traumatic experience and all that management did was "give a stern talking to, to the maintenance team". Right after moving in, the shower drain was clogging up every two weeks. It took them coming out multiple times before they actually fixed it. My washing machine smelled of mold and they refused to replace it and just sent someone to wash it. Not long after, it started leaking water from the front, and they had to replace it entirely. The air conditioning started acting funny in July, the hottest month of summer. Someone came out to look at it right before my 4th of July break and confirmed it was not working properly but because I have an "outside unit" they were not legally allowed to fix it and I would have to wait until the Monday after my supposed to be relaxing break to fix it. Meanwhile having to use two poorly installed windows units attached with cardboard and little tape which allowed moisture from humidity into my apartment. It cost me more money in my already high BGE bill. Two times now they have claimed it was looked at and fixed and my AC is still not working properly. Everytime maintenance does anything in my apartment, it has been done poorly, improperly and they leave trash and mess. Terrified to know what else I will have to face before my lease is up.

  No place is perfect, and Doncaster is far from it. While living here, you will have to follow up on maintenance requests, pay a fees for the Amazon Hub that Amazon barely uses, and experience a rent increase that is higher than rates offered to new move-ins. Despite these concerns, the one consistent positive experience I can mention is Sarah, the Assistant Property Manager. She is by far the best attribute in the office. No matter the concern or question, she always handles interactions with dignity, grace, and respect. I truly appreciate her professionalism and willingness to help.
