  I should’ve have known this place wasn’t going to live up to its expectations once I was told my dryer would be replaced prior to move in and it wasn’t. Now recently, under new management this complex has gone completely to shit! We are charged for trash removal when 1 we have to remove our own trash & the dumpsters are constantly overflowing and a sore eye. We are charged for parking with no assigned parking and limited spots. You literally have to wait for someone to move to get a parking spot. The new keypad entry does not always work and you will be locked out the building. Maintenance requests are marked completed when they’re not. AND THE RENT INCREASE?! OUTRAGEOUS! Not worth it! & unacceptable! Don’t bother trying to reach out to someone in the leasing office, they don’t answer nor do they email back. The gym is so outdated, the hall carpets are old, I can go on & on. The 1 star is for the fact that the neighborhood is quiet.

  Since Murn took over management, my experience at this property has gone significantly downhill. I’ve dealt with lease renewal delays and errors, being auto-enrolled in renters insurance despite having active coverage, and a three-week wait to fix a washing machine with little communication unless I followed up. New policies feel focused on added fees rather than resident experience, including charging for every guest visit and removing the ability to buzz guests in remotely. The new entry system has also failed at critical moments, including leaving me locked out in the rain with my child while waiting for maintenance. Amenities and conveniences that influenced my decision to live here are being reduced, while costs and inconvenience increase. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed with the direction of this property under Murn’s management.

  This has been the worse experience and I'm so sorry I looked at this community! Their practices are unfair and borderline criminal! There is no way a management company should be asking for a holding deposit until the applicant has been approved! I don't know why I was denied because I submitted other applications for other communities! And got 3 approvals!!! But okay, I'm thinking this was just a sign from God!! I would never want to do business with a company that is only concerned with their bottom line. My application went in on March 18th and denied on April 3rd! I believe all to hold my money long enough for them to receive interest on it! I made the deposit online through my debit card, why wasn't it just returned on my debit card!!?? And funny, its April 14th and I still haven't received it! dang!! I'm moving and the cost to do that is costly, so every dime is needed.. I would run, not walk if they ask for a holding deposit before telling you the status of your application. Who does that!!! I would not want to do business with this management company if they were paying my rent!! The Worse!! They were ringing my phone off the hook to get me to come tour their community, but a call back not a call back to say why my money was put back on my card. I just spoke with Kallen at the leasing office and she said she would look into this for me..

  Ever since Murn Management has taken over, this place has been miserable to live in and I try not to be home as often because of it. Prior to Murn, all the staff was friendly, the grounds were kept clean, there were community events, and maintenance always handled any issue with ease in a timely manner. Murn quietly took over in August after a random notice shared our resident portal would be down. Now with Murn, I constantly have to email to get a response from anyone and when I do, then there is a response. For example, I inquired about the grounds getting a new recycle bin as the previous one was not in great shape at all. Management said it was ordered after I had to mention it and yet, there is still no new bin. There is a constant pile up of trash, a new parking system now charging guests a $5 fee with no guarantee of a spot since it is already a hassle to find one, the door to my entryway has been broken for over a month as it has taken them to August to share that the software system wiped all the information out resulting in no extra keys (They said they finally got one as of this month). Management says transitioning was hard and finds all these excuses to cover the delay of issues that they fail to address yet decided a first priority was redoing the roofing when I am unsure they even got a good look at the property to see other things need attention like carpeting. I moved in at the beginning of 2024 but I cannot wait for my lease to be up this year. I had heard horrors about Murn and now I can say they are true. Only thing I appreciate is the maintenance team of two men who also seem to be fed up with management and their shenanigans. Save yourself the time.

  Bueno la comunidad de Winterset fue muy acogedora , la directiva consta de personas muy amables , en especial la Sra. Andrea Millán. Ella era la persona a la cual yo acudía para cualquier problema y gentilmente enviaba al personal para resolverlo. En conclusión quedé muy contento con la comunidad no hay problemas y es muy seguro vivir allí.
