  Our experience with NVR homes has not been great since taking ownership of the house in early spring. We are still waiting on repairs from a flooring problem noted in May. We love Two Rivers and the community but after a month in the house (early May), two levels of the house flooded because the drain on an upstirs shower, wasn’t screwed in. Puddy was holding the drain in place (for a while) and when it popped out, an entire shower’s worth of water cascaded down from the second level to the basement. This caused weeks of repair and almost damaged valuable books and electronic equipment. After that whole debacle was repaired in late May, I started noticing small gaps in the floorboards where their replaced the floor. I thought that it was due to a poor repair job. We called NVR and the Warranty team and they sent out a guy from the installer (Stonemark) who glued a few floorboards back together. We didn’t think that was going to work and told him as much, but he said trust me. As the days went on, more and more gaps started showing up, in places that had nothing to do with the flooding. We contacted the installer, NVR and the warranty company again and told them the problem was getting worse. They came by and offered to glue them down again. I told them no, it’s not a small issue, the problem is with the material. The connectors were obviously breaking in high traffic and low traffic areas of the house. We told them to come back and provide a plan to replace the floor. Crickets could be heard from all involved. In late June I told all of them to get their plan together, give us swatch options and come in and replace the floor. I said we have given you enough time to solve the problem and fix it. They didn’t respond until we started talking about money. They wanted to ask the manufacture questions about the floor. We said that we don’t have a relationship with the manufacturer of the material, but we did pay NVR for a finished, working house. Their responsibility is to us and delivering a finished product. They have not done that. They didn’t care and have not contacted us in a month and instead have only talked to the manufacturer who could take 2-3 months to respond. To the credit of the manufacturer, they sent an inspector quickly, did a thorough floor inspection and it was clear that the boards continue to separate and continue to get worse all over the house. We don’t know what they are going to do but I know that NVR, the installer and their warranty crew said nothing about their obligations in over a month. So, what’s next, who knows. I have threatened to replace the floor myself and stick NVR and Stonemark with the bill but getting involved in a legal fight is time consuming. If we don’t hear from them in the next week, I’ll report NVR to the BBB for failure to deliver a finished product, one we have already paid for. Not sure they will care. Anyway, I hope this cautionary tale helps you decide on where to buy your next home.

  We had an outstanding experience working with both Zach and Phil throughout the process of building and purchasing our NV home. Phil was excellent from the very beginning. He was knowledgeable, consistently responsive, and always maintained a positive and professional attitude. Whenever we had a question or concern outside the construction process, he acted quickly to address it and ensure that we were taken care of. His dedication and willingness to help made the entire experience significantly easier, and we truly appreciated all his hard work. Zach was equally wonderful to work with as our project manager. He communicated promptly, kept the project on schedule, and made sure our home was completed on time. Whenever we identified an issue, he responded quickly and worked to have it corrected. His reliability, professionalism, and attention throughout the construction process gave us confidence that our home was in good hands. Zach and Phil both went above and beyond for our family. We are incredibly grateful for their hard work and would highly recommend an NVHome to anyone because of them.

  This was our first new home build and it was a very pleasant experience. The sales team we talked with were very patient and was always willing to help and answer questions. Our project manager, Zach Morris, was the highlight of this whole experience. He went above and beyond, from start to finish, to ensure that we were well informed of the process, provide updates on the build, uploading new pictures of the house, and guiding us through the final walkthrough. Thank you Zach and team!

  Zach Morris is the best. Great project manager for NVHomes at Two Rivers. Always responsive, easy to work with and kind. As a realtor, I have worked with many project managers and builders, Zach is truly the best and his homes reflect his work style and ethics. Highly recommend this community with Zach Morris.

  You would expect for houses which are available starting mid 900s that the house would be habitable but The homes are built terribly, we just lost our air conditioning during this heat wave with small kids in house. We only moved in 4 weeks ago and obviously we are under warranty but you would not expect a new house to do this. When we called the warranty unit we are told they won’t be able to come in until next week. What are we supposed to do until then after paying so much for this house, this is how we are treated. What use is new construction, you are better off going to other builders or any other house really but this.
