  I'm leaving soon to a new state but I wanted to post a review for my 3 years of residency here. - 3 years ago rent was a good price but has since increased by 20% due to property owners changing lease terms. - Some cars were robbed in this property but the community has installed cameras and provided residency for police officers to live on site. - It's relatively quiet so noise pollution in this area is great. - Maintenance crew is responsive and quick, awesome people. - They repave the parking lots every year, but the parking logistics during this process were not handled well. No disrespect to the leasing office, they have been nice to me, but waking up early to move your vehicle somewhere else to avoid being towed is not a reasonable accommodation. *Edit* I see multiple vehicles at night in the repavement zone and medical facility parking lot. This was poorly handled. Overall with the uncontrolled rental increases and other minor issues which I have not listed here, 3 stars is a fair review.

  This complex has been an absolute nightmare. Residents have dealt with explicit threats, mail theft, and car theft, and management has done absolutely nothing. To make matters worse, the leasing office consistently punishes victims instead of addressing the actual problems. Complaints from certain residents are ignored entirely while others receive immediate attention. The bias here is obvious and the discrimination is real. Do not move here if you expect to be treated fairly or kept safe.

  Living at the Elms for a year has been a delightful experience. The walk-in closets are massive, and both the exterior and interior of the buildings are meticulously maintained. The maintenance team is always on-point and quick to respond. Having worked in security at various apartment complexes, I can attest to the efficiency and effective management at the Elms. In particular, Marci is commendable for her outstanding performance. Her ability to handle complex issues has had a positive impact on my stay here. For instance, her proactive approach in addressing a plumbing issue by hiring specialized plumbers to conduct a 'peppermint test' to detect a gas leak not only solved the problem but did so swiftly. I also had an issue with the persistent smell of marijuana emanating into my unit, which Marci quickly resolved. The only negative point I have about this place is the gym. The equipment looks like it's from the 70s, and there's no restroom or locker room available, not to mention the absence of a power rack. It could definitely benefit from a refresh.

  It's rare for me to write a review, but I felt inclined to share how great my experience has been here at The Elms of Odenton! I'm so pleased that I made the decision to reside in this community. The service is superb! Marci, the Assistant Property Manager is absolutely amazing. She is pleasant and always professional. Whenever I have a question or minor issue she responds in a timely manner and goes above and beyond to address it. The service team is also great--again always prompt and professional. The property is well maintained--beautiful landscaping, lovely pool, and quiet playground park...It's a safe community. I highly recommend The Elms! Contact Marci... I am certain she will be happy to service you!
