As a buyer's agent, I'm currently having the pleasure of working with Anthony while helping my clients purchase a home at Patuxent Greens Townhomes. From our very first visit, Anthony welcomed us with a warm, friendly attitude. He was also very accommodating in scheduling follow-up appointments, giving my clients time to review everything on their own before meeting again for further discussion. Throughout the process, Anthony has been knowledgeable, patient, and professional. More importantly, he genuinely wants to help my clients make the right decision—not just sell a home. He takes the time to explain every step, answer questions thoroughly, and never makes anyone feel pressured. When my clients had several HOA-related questions, Anthony went out of his way to find the correct answers instead of making assumptions. That level of care and follow-through gave my clients even more confidence throughout the process. Anthony has been a pleasure to work with, and I truly appreciate his professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to helping my clients. I highly recommend him to anyone considering a home at Patuxent Greens Townhomes.

I moved into my townhome in October of 2022. At the time of purchase, I had a great experience. The team that gets you vested is a great team - from the sales/construction/project/warranty managers, to the actual build/design teams, everyone seemed genuinely invested in providing a great experience for the customer. But retrospect makes that now feel like a bit of an empty lure…because we were promised several things that have not come to fruition. First, we were told that a clubhouse with a pool and gym would be built in 2023 - we are now midway into 2026 and probably 200+ additional homes and…NOTHING. In fact I hear they are still promising that to new residents which is just wild! Second, they still haven’t finishing paving our roads and driveways - this pisses me off the most because this is pure negligence. The roads and driveways are unfinished and messing up our tires slowly but surely, not to mention it just looks unkempt. My PM told me this was gonna be completed within weeks of the original pave, and nothing could’ve prepared me for the fact that it’s still not done. Third, they switched out our landscaping company a year (or two) after my being here and these new ones definitely cost the community less - their work is subpar so I can only imagine someone was trying to pay less. Meanwhile our HOA fees remain high. I could go on but I need everyone looking to buy here to hold NVHomes accountable since they do not seem to be doing so themselves. Please do better NVH, I like my home, but I don’t like feeling played.

Overall, an absolutely great home and great home buying experience. I felt extremely comfortable with my sales rep, Christopher Pikus, and knew I was going to get the home as soon as he started giving us the tour. Even after signing, he was so accommodating and willing to answer my millions of questions. My project manager, James Wright, was the man. I am nearly positive I tested his patience on a weekly basis with my absurd nitpicking, but he stayed friendly and completely answered my every concern. I even mentioned that I would like to mount a gym rack to the wall in the garage and he added extra blocking to the frames of the wall for extra support when I installed my rack. After moving into the house, both Tony Kirchgessner and Matthew Filderman offered fantastic post move in support. A week after settling on my home, me in my infinite genius drilled straight into a fire sprinkler pipe while trying to mount a TV. Tony, with no obligation to help me on this matter, personally showed up on my door and insisted on helping me fix the gaping hole in my drywall my plumber created trying to get to the pipe. Suffice to say, I am very happy with my home buying experience. I highly recommend purchasing a home in the area. You will be in great hands.

My experience with NV Homes has been mixed. Jordan, our sales agent, was excellent—professional, responsive, and consistently provided great customer service throughout the process. He is truly an asset to the company. Unfortunately, the overall buying and design process felt very restrictive and “nickel-and-dime,” especially for a high-priced new construction home. Many items that seemed like basic, logical choices were treated as unnecessary upgrades. For example, changing fixture colors triggered costly upgrades across the home, yet similar items (like the kitchen faucet) were excluded without a clear or reasonable explanation. I was also disappointed to learn that I could not choose the interior paint color—even if I selected a neutral color at the same cost—which directly impacts other design decisions. Additionally, inconsistencies in bathroom fixtures and the inability to make small adjustments for consistency across the home felt unreasonable for a brand-new build. Overall, the process felt more like renovating an existing home rather than building a new one. NV Homes promotes customization, but in reality, choices are very limited unless you’re willing to pay significantly more. With more flexibility and transparency, NV Homes could greatly improve the customer experience and truly stand out as a builder that values its homeowners. I am; however, excited to be purchasing a new home.
