What we love: Kim is amazing. Sheās very friendly and quick to answer any questions or maintenance concerns. The lay out of the townhomes is great - open floor plan, lots of windows letting in natural light, large balcony, lots of storage space, the garage is very convenient, the kitchen is beautiful and open with a large island and plenty of counter space, the office/ basement has been fantastic as a quiet study/ work from home area. We have fiber internet, which has been very reliable. The walls are thick, so we never hear the neighbors. The area itself is very quiet and peaceful, which is a great change from living in the city. The area is also pretty walkable in terms of having a nice neighborhood to stroll through.
What we donāt love so much (mostly as pet owners): they charge on the higher end for pet rent ($50/ pet). Iām fine with paying pet rent, however there are really no pet amenities to justify the pet rent being on the higher end. The place we came from was pet friendly and charged the same amount for pet rent but they had a dog spa, a dog park, and pet clean up stations. Here, there is no dog park. The back yards arenāt fenced in and it doesnāt seem that we are allowed to add a renter-friendly fence of any kind (we asked). There are NO pet clean up (poop) stations anywhere. Iāve picked up other peopleās poop bags that were just left lying around because thereās nowhere to dispose of them. Iām sure as more people move in, people will begin not even bothering to clean up their pet waste since there are no bags or clean up stations conveniently placed. Itās more āpet tolerantā, not really āpet friendly.ā
If you donāt have pets, itās perfect. If you do have pets, itās great in terms of being a walkable and quiet area. I hope they add some improvements for pet owners as they continue building things out⦠at least add some clean up stations so we donāt have to put our dog poop in our regular waste bin.
