Hello Apartment seekers, Brighton Village – Things to Consider Before Moving In If you are considering moving to Brighton Village. Based on my experience and observations, there are several issues you may want to consider: 1. Noise: The buildings have limited sound insulation, so you may hear people walking and conversations from neighboring units. 2. Dog waste: Dog waste is frequently left on lawn and walking areas, and cleanup can be inconsistent. 3. Pests: Residents on ground floors may encounter mice and snakes, particularly around outdoor/ground-level areas. 4. Car-related incidents: There have been concerns about people accessing cars late at night and theft from vehicles. 5. Tire theft: There have also been concerns about stolen car tires. 6. Electrical and plumbing maintenance: Maintenance response and the quality of repairs can be frustrating at times. 7. Roaches: Pest-control treatments are provided, but residents may continue to experience roach problems and may need to deal with recurring infestations. 8. Smoking/weed: Smoke from cigarettes and marijuana can sometimes come from neighboring balconies, and residents may feel that management does not respond adequately. 9. Visitor parking: Some residents have concerns about activity involving visitors in the parking areas and feel that security could be improved, Anyone can park in visitors parking without any tags from Brighton management 10. Safety: Overall, I have concerns about safety for children, pedestrians, and vehicles. Please think 1000 times before signing a lease otherwise I should feel bad for next 1 year lease term

Mostly this community is good, whereas leasing team can't accommodate their own residents to pool party, even some of them are not able to register prior, either they're out of state or out of country. Even after you request leasing office passes only for kids they'll not able to accommodate so please expect these kind of inconvenience and upset from kids

During my time living at Brighton Village Apartments, I experienced ongoing issues with roaches, rodents, excessive noise from neighboring units, and management that was dismissive of repeated complaints. The buildings are older, and even normal walking from upstairs neighbors is clearly audible. Safety was also a concern for me. There were multiple vehicle break-ins discussed within the community, and I never felt there was enough visible overnight security or communication from management regarding safety. I was also left with the impression that leasing and occupancy policies were not applied consistently, which made the process feel unfair and lacking transparency. The only positive aspect is the location. It is close to grocery stores, RIO, Kentlands, Costco, and I-270. Unfortunately, the convenient location does not make up for management, and safety concerns I experienced.

Brighton village Gaithersburg is the worst community you could ever stay in. Full of roaches, rat. There is no point of complaining to office because they hire companies whose products don’t work. I have complained more than 5 times for the same issue and every-time they hire a company who come in to all apartments and spray something so toxic for human claiming it would kill generations of roaches and nothing happens. They came for 15 weeks sprayed my whole home even asked me to move things from my home including clearing my whole bathroom and kitchen cabinets and guess what nothing happens. Now I have living with roaches and rat. Rat is another problem in thi community. They have problem with basically everything. They have issues with us keeping our things on patio. Even threatened us for keeping things in patio by saying our recreational area access with be revoked and we will be jeopardizing our reference for next home. So basically if you want to stay with roaches and rat this will be ideal place for you besides paying hefty rent and still feeling like they are keeping us for free and doing us a favor.
